do you think he will be only a pass rusher guy like Freeney ??

i mean...i was expecting more than 7tkl in 3 games considering that he's a starter now

Bears have faced a middle of the road number of rush attempts -- 85, but nearly half came in Week 1. Anderson had four solos in that game. Anderson has shown flashes of above-average backside pursuit ability, but is unlikely to ever be a stud at the point of attack and may not get run at much on the weak side anyway. And he's never played this many snaps before.

With Harris and Briggs potentially out, it may be that Anderson's pursuit opportunity increases and Week 1 becomes closer to the norm. Or his size and increased workload may make him a 35-40 solo guy, including his (hopefully) double digit sacks.

I'd still bet on him finishing in the mid 40s today and don't think he'll be anything like Freeney's low 30s output in past seasons.

Keep in mind that DLs are going to vary week in and week out on tackles. They could go several weeks with only a couple tackles a game and then the next get 5 or 6. As Jene said the opponent plays into what they do a lot but there just aren't that many DL who will be consistent week in week out.

yeah, of course i know thatbut...speaking of Anderson he had his only tkl (& sack) on Bears 1st defensive play of the game and then......NADA for 58 minutes

Anderson was a terror yesterday. He had 2 sacks and a FF, and was all over the field. Defensive linemen are the toughest to pick weekly because their success, fantasy wise, is heavily dependent on sacks. Their numbers will fluctuate all the time.
