Mark Ingram - what are the chances that the Saints trade him? (1 Viewer)

Please stop it with lack of opportunity, can't get in rhythm talk. Ingram was drafted to be an upgrade over Pierre Thomas. He clearly isn't. If the Saints hadn't spent a first round pick on him, he would not have half the carries he has gotten up to this point. He has been given more opportunity than he deserves to show he belongs on the field and he continues to fail. Ingram's pedestrian combine was a major clue he wasn't an elite athlete, but someone was asleep at the wheel and spent a 1st on him anyway.

Biggest RB draft bust of all time?

Guys who had better careers than Mark Ingram:

[*]Curtis Enis

[*]Paul Palmer

[*]Rashaan Salaam

[*]Mike Rozier

[*]Blair Thomas

I could probably keep going, but I just barfed in my shirt. There's always William Green, I guess.

I thought this was discussion on the possibility of the Saints trading Mike Ingram, not the bandwagon thread 2.0.

What on earth would you give up for Mark Ingram? And what should the Saints expect to get in return? If I'm a GM, I don't give up anything more than a 5. Maybe a 4. But I'm the Saints, can I really accept that in return? And if I do, what does that say about my ability as a GM to Saints fans? Hell, they don't even have a GM right now. Who is in charge, Alexander Haig?

I think there is a 0% chance he gets traded, and don't think anyone would be willing to give up what the Saints would be willing to take considering their investment. At least you continued the relevant conversation and not just the Ingram lovers vs. haters.
