I empathize with him. I would be extremely mad to have proven myself to the point where, at the very least, he gets those carries over Robinson in the 1st half. I hate to keep repeating myself but this guy is going to Marshawn Lynch the second half of his career and some Seattle clone will be very happy to have him.

I admit to being a very harsh critic towards Ingram and to be honest doubted that he was actually any good. But watching him at the end of last year and through week one, to be honest the Emmitt Smith comparisons are pretty accurate just based on running style. I'm not comparing the two in any other way, but Ingram looks strong and does have some quickness and I really like that he does run angry.

He does need to get his attitude in check though, I don't care who you are being disrespectful to your coach isn't going to earn you extra carries.

first off you said top 5 finish and now you are saying RB2, so no consistency there equals you are just posting for attention and not posting fully fleshed out thoughts.

you are basically putting him down for the best receiving season by any RB ever. you are saying he will catch anywhere from 80-128 passes this season, the higher end would be the 2nd most catches by any player ever. I don't that is a reasonable expectation at all. I think 5-6 TDs is his ceiling and he could easily finish with 2-3 also. but sure, if you think he might have the 2nd most receptions of all time, he might be a RB1. I don't think a guy who got the 4th most targets on his team yesterday and is averaging 5 carries a game recently is going to be a RB1

I am I just don't like leagues that overemphasize marginal players.I also only play in super-flex or mandatory two QB leagues because guys like PT shouldn't be drafted ahead of guys like Big Ben and Carson Palmer.

ok, again you are saying he will catch between 96-112 passes which I certainly don't think he will do. I don't think Pierre Thomas is set up for some sort of historic season catching passes and you apparently do, we disagree there. I can easily see him catching 70 passes and getting 80 carries on the season for something like 170 points in a PPR (if you get 1 point per 10 yards receiving, my league gets 1 per 20 which puts him right around 9-10 PPG

yesterday was a good but not great sign for Ingram IMO. Payton played his typical games in the first half when Ingram finished with 11 yards but he was dominant down the stretch. I don't think that means he takes over as a 16-18 carry back though and his usage in the passing game was disappointing. 19 points is great for a guy we all got for cheap and he certainly showed he deserves to be in my lineup again, but if someone comes knocking with a great offer I will listen

Ingram was benched after the 1st quarter and didn't come back in until 5 minutes left in the 3rd.
