Islanders rule

I have received some very informative info from this forum over the years and just wanted to give a little info back that may help some other FF owners,

There are two ("Mark"s) that are probably available on most waiver wires who could help you to your FF championship.

The first and probably most productive of the two for the remainder of the regular season is WR Mark Bradley of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Last week (week 10) Bradley was targeted 14 times and had 9 receptions for 81 yds and a TD. In week 8 he had 5/41/1 against the Jets. By the way, in one previous game against the saints who they play this weekend he had one reception for 19 yards and a TD ?

Remaining schedule for the Chiefs:

Week 11 - Saints

Week 12 - Bills

Week 13 - Raiders

Week 14 - Broncos

Week 15 - Chargers again - Last week 9/81/1

Week 16 - Dolphins

Week 17 - Bengals

You will be hard pressed to find a more favorable schedule for a guy who may be on your waiver wire and is receiving a good amount of targets.

Granted, LJ will be back this week and it is up for discussion as to whether this will help or hurt Bradley who is a big target @ 6'2"" 200 lbs. Bowe and Gonzo will also of course be in the mix big time.

I hope this info helps somebody.

Oh, the other Mark who could be on your waiver wire and be productive is Clayton of the Baltimore Ravens. However, the Ravens remaining schedule is much tougher than the Chiefs but he could also be valuable with Mason being injured and Flacco & the Ravens opening up the offense.

All the best to all of you.

Dude, you've been beaten to the punch about 17 times already. I even thought while opening this, "Another Bradley thread?"

Damn. Relax everyone. The dude put in some time just to be helpful.

If you think the post is crap, just read it and don't post a response. It'll work it's way off the board much quicker.

with boldin, marshall and roddy white, bradley is glued to my bench. i'm sure he'll probably outscore one of them every week, but i probably won't waver from my top trio.

Bradley was available in one of my leagues so I just picked him up. That remaining schedule looks great and I'll see what happens. If he has another good game it might give me the confidence in him, especially knowing about that schedule, to try and trade one of my starting WR's for an upgrade at RB, where injuries have put a serious hurt on me. I appreciate the heads up.

:thumbup:There are plenty of leagues where Bradley was still in the waiver wire and owners aren't active until the weekend. And, one more time, we do not care about multiple threads on the same person. If it gets out of hand, we will take care of it. Your job is to use the report function, not to post nastiness.

Thigpen needs to realize Bowe is the far better receiver.

I like the idea of waiver gems for the 2nd half. Any other suggestions? Galloway is available in one league but I just picked up KRob.

He's had back to back good games and Hasselbeck is returning.

People need to realize that for every shark league out there where the Mark Bradley's and BJGE's are nabbed up BEFORE they have their breakout games because their leagues are full of people with fantasy crystal balls, there are leagues that are dominated with guppies who are NOT fantasy geniuses and still enjoy doing this.

Granted, the bulk of those guys are not likely scouring this forum all the time but hey, for every shark in the world who finds this thread to be a "duh, thanks a lot" thread there are guys out there who says "Mark Bradly, I thought he played for the Beeas, thanks for the tip guys!"

So I agree wit Marc, lighten up guys. Just because it's CALLED a Shark Pool doesn't means every thread is worthy of only being info. that sharks need.

Just to help make my point a little further.........

Lance Moore-Available in 22% of sportsline leagues

Tyler Thigpen-Still available in 31% of leagues

Dustin Keller-Still available in 55%

I could go on and on.........soooooo, keep this is mind when you feel a thread isn't quite worthy of your superior intellects and instead of responding just keep on scrolling down.

I'm not in any of those leagues. :goodposting:

I'm not in any of those leagues.
Those stats are misleading. The only leagues Moore and Thigpen are availible are in those that aren't active at all and dead, those leagues that limit roster moves, the leagues that have a high cost on WW transactions, or those leagues with 8 players. In any normal active 10 or above team league Moore and Thigpen are long gone

I'm sure Thigpen realizes that Bowe is a better receiver, but, he also realizes that he'll be much for successful throwing into single coverage.

I realize not all leagues are hyperintense shark heavy leagues, but seriously, I'm in a 6 team, relatively guppy-filled league, and Bradley's long gone. This is old news.

FWIW, We're near Baltimore so we all know it's probably not worth it to pick up Clayton.

But everyone feels the need to throw hate on the original poster that it's beneath all of us great ones to have to read this. :hot:

The best part is everyone so quick to criticize people that criticize. With bradley, It's not the recommendation that's the problem, it's the ####-suredness of how it's delivered as someone who's "probably available" that will help us win championships that's the problem.

Why is it problematic for us to give anecdotal evidence that he's probably gone in most leagues, but it's not a problem for him to speculate that he's probably available?

And with clayton, I just provided a brief homer perspective as rebuttal to the recommendation. To elaborate more, he's inconsistent and frankly hasn't been very good so even with mason hobbled, I don't see him being much value. Just a counter-opinion on the recommendation.

Ever notice that the guys that typically say "He's long gone in my shark league" are also the ones that say "No one cares who's on your team/opponents team/etc." Well, not to be rude, but the second is right - no one cares if so and so is gone in your particular league. He may be available in some, which is why this information may be valuable to some.

 League depth is variable. Some guys play in 10-team leagues that only go 14 players deep per squad, while others play in 16-team leagues in which rosters go 30-deep. That's a difference between a 140-deep league and a 480-deep league. That's a big difference. Your average league is about 200-deep, but one shouldn't presume that other leagues have similar depth.

I agree but with Bradley suceeding who do you double cover? They have Gonzo and Bowe as well. Teams will have to roll coverage.

Well I understand why people are giving this guy grief. He acts as though he's giving this inside information that's brand new, never heard of before. Bradley should be gone in most leagues.

However I do appreciate him taking the time for this, although he could have done a search on Bradley and posted in comments in one of those many threads

Thanks, much appreciated. :goodposting: Just ignore the Debbie Downers - there are many more people who appreciate well intended info than the few who ##### about it.

6 team league and Bradley is long gone?!?!?!?!?1 of 2 things, your rosters are made of 30 offensive players, or someone's draft really sucked if they actually will take the time to pick Bradley off waivers.
