Maroney isn’t seeing red anymore (1 Viewer)

Gotta love Maroney this year! :goodposting:
Hey Jurb, Where do you have him ranked and why?
I've got him ranked in the 6-8 range of RBs. Not sure if I want LJ in front of him or not, Westy and Addai as well. Here are the RBs I have ahead of him now:LTJacksonGoreParkerRudiHonestly, I don't see any reasons not to like Maroney. He has great talent (I admit I was down on him out of college but have since come around), he has a superb Oline, scary WRs on the edge to stretch the field, a great D who can shut teams down, an O that will likely be in scoring position often and NE ran the ball extremely well last year. Just giving Maroney half of what Dillon amassed last year along with his share he would have had: 274 carries, 1151 yds, 29 reception, 267 yds and 13 TDs. If he stays healthy I think he came easily outperform those numbers. I don't think it is unrealistic what so ever to think Maroney will see that kind of touches as a floor. With the improvements on the team I think the yardage is fair if not conservative. Moss should steal more than a few TDs and redzone looks, but again I'm only giving Maroney HALF of what Dillon put up last year any way. Actaully less than half. I gave him 6 of 13. Even if we don't expect the NE O to score more that would still leave 7 TDs floating around out there for Moss and co. to vulture. I may have been highly down on Maroney last year, but I'm very high on him this year. I think he will perform like a 1st round RB with potential to be RB1. There I said it. I've been avoiding saying that all off-season. :excited:

Well thought out. I think it is his durability that scares me the most. I'm not sure he can handle a full time load.
