Maroney or Morris (1 Viewer)

Maroney looked good the other night, but BB took him out for a critical 4th and 1 and gave Sammy Morris the carry (he picked up the 1st down). A Boston newspaper writer has also speculated that Morris might be the short-yardage guy. I'm at the 1/2 turn and thinking about Maroney as my 2nd back, but I think he loses significant value if he loses the goaline. Any thoughts?

BB doesn't like to be predictable. There won't be anything set here IMO.Also the other night Evans got the rock alot. He too could be the GL guy/4th and 1 guy, in fact, he's a lock IMO for some short yardage carries as he's one of the toughest SOBs with the rock in the NFL.....most FBs are matter of fact. Pretty sure they eat that up

Sorry DDog...i didn't notice that you had already started this topic earlier. Have you had any revelations on this in the meantime? I'm thinking about grabbing one of the stud WR with my 2.02 pick.
