Marshawn Lynch? How concerned are we? (1 Viewer)

Lynch's back keeps tightening up and his remaining schedule is very tough. Even though he was at home, he had pretty abysmal running stats yesterday salvaged only a bit by some passing game work. Can this guy be relied on down the stretch? Or are his owners in big trouble?

Coach Pete Carroll said Marshawn Lynch missed two series Sunday because he was sick to his stomach.
"He was about to throw up over on the sidelines so he had to wait it out," Carroll said. That may have been the case, but Lynch's persistent back woes also appeared to be bugging him a bit. "It's always an issue. He always has that tightness he has to get through," Carroll added. Lynch is not in danger of missing the Thanksgiving game at San Francisco, but owners should still be practicing proper handcuffing strategy with Robert Turbin

Yesterday wasn't a back issue, start with confidence.
I think the back is an issue because it keeps tightening up each game. RW's Evan Silva talked about how the game would likely result in a Beast TD because of the way he plays at home but that didn't play out. Lynch is not an RB that will win championships, unlike Crow, Charles, Murray, and maybe, just maybe McCoy now that the O-Line is back and the schedule a cakewalk. Sell high you still can.

Who do you want to own as a handcuff? I personally think Carroll is a gambler and should marshawn go down hes going to run Christine Michael out there as the higher upside talent. Turbin excels in Pass Protection, but he doesn't jump off the page as a runner. If I'm a marshawn owner, I think Michael is a good insurance policy for those worried about lynch.

By all accounts, Michael can't be trusted to do his job. Turbin would get the additional carries. Close game in AZ and Michael didn't sniff the field.

Sell high? Is this guy for real?

I asked this in another thread, but who is the guy to have if Lynch leaves next year? Or perhaps a rookie?

Turbin would be the front runner, and I think they go RB early in the draft. With all of that being said, Lynch is under contract next season and I wouldn't be surprised if he was still here.

 "Crow" doesnt deserved to be mentioned in the same breathe as those guys.

Michael by a country mile next year.

This season a little more up in the air. The offense is flat right now and not enough playmakers to help out Wilson. I think they'd need someone like Michael to add some juice to the offense if Lynch went down but Turbin's role would grow and he'd likely be the every down passing back.

I also don't think Seattle does not trust Michael in the sense I think they trust the fact he'd be able to perform if Lynch went down or leaves next year. They probably don't trust him as a pass protector and in general the staff and Wilson put a lot of trust in Turbin but I don't take that as not trusting Michael.

Do we really know that Michael is really better than Turbin, other than what we've read about Michael's supposed upside?
