Marty Booker, MIA WR (1 Viewer)

Portis 26

Madden Freak
It wasn't so long ago that Booker caught 100 and 97 balls in consecutive seasons.

He's been a victim of terrible quarterbacking in Chicago and Miami the last few seasons.

But by the end of last season, he was beginning to put up rather respectable numbers.

5 catches for 102 yards against the Patriots.

3 for 78 against the Chargers.

7 for 86 against the Patriots again.

With Culpepper as QB, he surely has the opportunity to put up solid numbers. He appears to be the clear #2 WR in Miami.

He is currently on waivers in many dynasty leagues, and will not be drafted until very late in most other leagues.

Given that his value is less than a packet of Twinkies, he could make a solid WR#3.

I'm not saying he's going to set the world on fire, but you could do a lot worse if you're looking for a bye-week fill in.

Considering that Mularkey WR2s have averaged only slightly lower numbers than WR1s, and usually have been interchangable, I'd say he presents great value

1) because Chris Chambers is overrated this year, and 2) because no one thinks Booker is worth anything.

Would not be surprised to see him flirt with the 1000/8 line, slightly less than the 1100/11 I anticipate from Chambers (sorry Chambers lovers).

How does 1100/11 require an apology? That's a top-10 WR and pretty appropriate for where Chambers is being drafted.Booker is a decent receiver, but with Chambers and McMichael there, 1000 yards seems unrealistic.

5 years ago is a long time to me.

Booker is solid sleeper material... but I see his high side closer to 875 and 6-7.

I don't really expect him to reach those numbers, I see them as his high side, but I feel he will outperform his ADP.
