I guess my point was that without Burfict, Cincy loses anyway. IMO he was the key reason why Cincy was even in that game. And you want your head coach to sit him for running with a football in celebration? PAC Man is as much to blame as Burfict.

Yes I would have sat his ### on the bench in a heartbeat. I'm not a fan of all this celebration stuff though. To me Walter Payton was the best. He scored and handed the ball to the ref. Barry Sanders did that too I think. In the old days nobody did the crap they do now. I'm an old fart so I understand that most people don't feel the same way.

We all feel that way but we're middle aged white guys who had parental guidance and didn't grow up in a gang. Burfict will be suspended by the NFL for his hit on Brown and he should. But let's say Lewis sits him down. Rest of his defense is going to be pissed; he's their boy. He was the one ready to fight all the Steelers for the cheap shot on Bernard. Sitting him has the potential for negative ramifications.

It was a crazy night and Cincy should have won. The reason why they were in any position to win at all was because of Vontaze. Lotta blame to pass around in that loss, but firing Marv for it would be a mistake.

Yeah but it wasn't like Hill was carrying the ball like a loaf of bread. He was doing what he was supposed to do...fight for yards. Kill the clock. His fumble was the result of some good defense not stupidity/immaturity.

I'm not saying I don't want Burfict and Jones on my team. I am saying that if you are going to put the team at risk with these guys, put a damn coach in there who at least is going to pretend this stuff pisses him off.

5-1 to make next years super bowl according to Vegas. 3rd best in AFC. Not going to make major changes because of a couple penalties when they're right there. Biggest thing to keep in mind with Marvin is he has a ton of control. I think you can replace Marvin the coach easier than you can the Marvin who assembled this roster.
