Matt Ryan owners (1 Viewer)

philly will be fine at gametime
Link? From what I've seen it is 60% chance of rain with at least 20 mph winds.
I have been using these 2 links to keep an eye on weather. I don't have any better options but there is not enough to scare me here:http://www.myfoxhurricane.com/custom/storms/storm1_track.htmlhttp://weather.philly.com/US/PA/Philadelphia.htmlI would also keep an eye on @AJCFalcons. He will have updates. Looks like wind could cause some issues later in the game but based on what I saw here today in NC (from the coast and 130 miles inland) I am not as worried as I was earlier.

got a ton of players in this game....would you change kickers because of this?

I would change team names because of this.

Little off topic here... but are any Ryan/Julio/Turner/Roddy/Gonzo owners worried about the Falcons locking up the division really early and maybe even resting their starters for a half during week 16?

For a decision like that I think Twitter is your best friend. If you are worried just have another option to go and see what the real-time updates are before kickoff.

Just heard a report on the radio from an eagles beat writer who suggested that neither team would be able to pass in the game due to the conditions. I'm strongly considering benching Ryan for Hasslebeck, if the weather reports don't look better around gametime.

While the precipitation has held off thus far, it's very windy down on the Lincoln Financial Field turf. Rain is expected soon.

Doppler radar check: the first raindrops are beginning to fall. #atlphi12 http://twitpic.com/b8872l

The real effects of Hurricane Sandy are not expected to hit Philadelphia until roughly 4 p.m. ET Sunday.

As of 11:10 a.m. Sunday, it was dreary in Philadelphia but there was no precipitation. While there will be scattered showers throughout the area during the Eagles/Falcons game, the wind is not expected to gust over 20 mph. We wouldn't hesitate to start Matt Ryan, Michael Vick and everyone else involved. The worst weather right now appears to be in Cleveland, where heavy rain and wind is already coming down ahead of Chargers/Browns. Other games that are expected to be affected by weather include Jets/Dolphins and Steelers/Redskins, where quarterbacks will be dealing with wet footballs and some wind.

The reviews are rather mixed. Some are saying it's barely raining and the winds are just occasional gusts, while other reports are saying it's horrendous weather than the passing games will be completely useless.

You think there'd be some clarity here. This is nuts.

saw a quick shot of ryan throwing on field, no rain and didnt look that windy. Just my observation though. Im rolling with RYan unless it gets crazy before 1

#Falcons Matt Ryan:wind at Lincoln Financial blowing sideline to sideline: better than end zone to end zone. #Frankenstorm gusts: 25-35 mph

@sbnation I'm here and it's really windy with dark clouds in the sky. All anyone is talking about is the storm.

The only way I know of to illustrate the wind #atlphi12 pic.twitter.com/EHrGTnSh

#Falcons Matt Ryan says wx today won't bother him at all. He grew up playing in Philly rainstorms. He's excited: 100 friends & family here.

NFL Network is live on the field now, and it doesn't look bad at all. The wind doesn't even look that bad.

They did say they expect it to get much worse around halftime though.

I searched and found some Twitter folks who were tailgating. Pinged them for weather updates. They have all been responding with no rain and no worries about wind as of yet.

I've gone back and forth between Ryan and Eli all morning. Love Ryan going home playing in front of friends and family. The weather is gut wrenching.

The only thing I'm confident about is however it ends up, I'll likely be kicking myself for starting the wrong guy.

Yeah I've yanked Julio Jones in and out of my starting lineup about a half dozen times. I think I'm going to go with him since there doesn't appear to be anything definitive with the wind. But I'm still stunned at how many different forecasts and reports I'm seeing from the same location.

I think Julio is the tipping point for me. My opponent has Julio in his lineup, so I would really hate myself if he had a massive game while I had Ryan on the bench.

Hope people didn't overthink this. Great first quarter for Matt Ryan.
Lot's of overthinking going on. People were sitting him for Hasselbeck and Vick (who's dealing with the same elements).

Glad I stuck with him, this guy's been money all year long and this was supposed to be one of his tougher matchups for the remaining of the season.

He's pretty much carrying my team...

I wish they'd stop blowing people out though lol... he always throws like 3 TDs in the first half then they shut it down in the 2nd and run the ball with Turner the rest of the game.

I ended up starting him, but my fear was based off of a beat writer on the radio claiming that it would be impossible to pass the ball because of how windy and rainy it was. Obviously that wasn't the case, which was fairly evident when they started going to live feeds in philly.

I don't even carry a second QB. He and Jules were golden today.
I only have Ryan for now, but I plan on keeping an eye on the wire for a good backup who gets dropped. At 7-0, there is a risk of him sitting late in the year, or at least a half or so in week 16. Better safe than sorry..

Exactly. It's maddening, actually.

I'm very worried about this. Hopefully my Cowboys beat them next weekend to level out the playin field a bit.

I'm not so sure I agree with him sitting. The only way they rest any starters is if they have 1st place in the NFC locked up. Home field in the NFC Championship is far too important, especially for the Falcons. With the bears and Giants both at 6 wins, it would be very rare to have the #1 seed locked up by week 16. They would have to be THREE games up on 2nd place in the NFC to make week 16 irrelevant (2 games up if they own the tiebreaker vs that 2nd place team)

I think ATL will lose some games here soon. NO could take them down, maybe even TB. They could have lost one or two already, CAR and WAS came close...
