I know the general reaction in ff when it comes to the Texans has been to ignore and/or look elsewhere. But I really like the direction that Houston's offense has gone this season, most notably with the replacement of QB's with Matt Schaub.
He's got some legitimate weapons (Andre Johnson & Ahman Green), plus he's got some solid young talent around him who aren't household names but have definite upside and have many a fantasy owner excited about their prospects (Owen Daniels, Jacoby Jones). Mike Sherman has a good history of building offensive lines with Green Bay and obviously the Houston line has nowhere to go but up.
Right now, Schaub can be had as a bottom level QB2 or a top QB3. It may take some time for that team to gel, but I think come season's end, we will be looking at that price as a bargain (could be a 10-15th ranked QB), and I see him as a prime buy candidate for keeper/dynasty as well (25 years old).
Anybody got any thoughts of Schaub's prospects and/or situation?
