Tough call pre-draft... until you know where a player will land, he is uncertain..... and even then, his role is not always clear.

I voted MBIII.

it is a very tough call....

If Dmac goes too Oak, he loses a ton of value... heck; he may not even be 1.01 for me anymore.

Then theres the RBBC situation in big D... reports are that their looking at RB for either of the 2 1st rd picks or 2nd rd.

Interesting...

Until Dallas signs/drafts another viable option, MB3 is the choice. Knowing the 'boys, that will most likely change.

I will be shocked if one of thier 1st 3 picks is not an RB.. I got the feeling their looking at Flex Jones as a nice counter part to MBIII.I voted for 1.01 myself... but they are very close

I dont think whoever dallas drafts for RB's will get a significant amount of carries. Unless you consider 5-8 carries a game significant.

voted for 1.1. IMO....... DMC is special. These types of backs find a way to shine. Critics started doubting him pre -combine, "poof" - 4.29-. Watch :goodposting: he will do great things.. He is not as good as ADP but will be a better pro than Bush. I would consider Bush better than MB3 in my PPR league. Ergo, DMC is of more value to me than MB3.

MB3 is a very good back with a very good o-line. Would he be as good somewhere else? The boys will bring in another back but his touches will be better than 2007.

As a 1.1 owner, I will hold if offered MB3 straight up.

The plan will alway too keep MBIII fresh.. similar to BJ; try to keep him under 20 touches

I voted Barber. I guess it largely depends on what you're doing with your team. Assuming this is a dynasty league, if you are in more of a rebuild mode then 1.01 is the way... but if you can compete this year, I think Barber is a much safer bet for the next year or two (particularly in that potent Dallas offense).

It's all speculation until you see how the draft pans out. Does Dallas add a legit RB to their stable like a Maurice Jones-Drew or is it a more complimentary RB like a Kevin Faulk? As for McFadden you need to see where he goes. He's a potential big time RB but what happens if's he's still standing at #7 and the Pats draft him as the best player available and he's sharing time with Maroney?

The bottomline is this is a trade I would not be in a rush to make whether I had Barber or the #1 pick. There's just too much room for error until we see who Barber's backfield partner is or where McFadden ends up. If forced to make a decision ight now (i.e. as of 3/12) I'd go with Barber. He'll only be 25 yeards old in June, doesn't have big mileage on him, has seen the end zone 28 times in the last two years and is a known commodity. The kid is a big time RB who seems poised to really break out next year without Julius Jones in the fold.
