23 hours 26 minutes from 40 on az border to middle of Chicago.21 hours 5 minutes from 40 on az border to center of NO.So I will be driving from AZ to Chicago next weekend. 2 day marathon drive. I usually go through OK City and up north from there. I'm really tempted to go down to NO but that's gotta be like a 10 hr detour right?

I can fit more....but time & space are my mystery factor here. my instincts tell me we will have food through 9 pm. If I can feed 225-250 I will be right on par.
If I had the room inside....I would be cooking for 400 based on phone, internet, drop byes, etc. It feels like calm before storm for sure.

so far its been overwhelmingly good....the food was right on point tonight.What was the general consensus on taste? Word of mouthin BBQ is perhaps the biggest key to success so I'm curious what you heard.

Talked to my buddy daren (guy who you did a pre-rehearsal dinner for the first time we came to dantes) about your place tonight. He said he wanted to go but with the buzz he was hearing he didn't want to fight a "likely line around the block". He's planning on waiting for it to die down a little and will be by.
