McNabb Got X-Rays On Hand After Game (1 Viewer)

Thanks Kevin,From the article:

BUCS 23 EAGLES 21 In his first game in the Florida heat since purportedly choking back vomit in the huddle during the Super Bowl XXXIX loss to the New England Patriots, McNabb doubled over at the Tampa Bay 34-yard line with 10:34 left in the game, and it looked as if the de pleted Eagles quarterback began dry heaving, if not throwing up, before signaling for a timeout.
It didn't "look like" he was throwing up. That was a full fledged puke your guts up into the facemask at the line of scrimmage.I wonder what T.O. thought of that?J

I missed this game. Why was he throwing up? Was he sick, had the flu, etc? Is anyone insinuating that he was getting sick due to the pressure?

It was very hot. Over 100 on the field. It doesn't mean he was tired or not in shape (I'm a McNabb fan) but I'm sure T.O. took notice.J

Are we going to see the "dry heave" end zone celebration tonight?

Our local media (Tampa Trib writers) mentioned 3 puking episodes. In his defense, its was a lovely Tampa afternoon with 112 degree temperatures on the field.

Oh, and.... The Legend of Bruce continues to grow....

Was it Clam Chowder or Classic Chicken Noodle? I'll be here all week.
It looked more like Lemon Gatorade with a few chunks thrown in. It was pretty graphic.Went to line, looked to his right. Could tell he wasn't right. Backed up and dry heaved. Then went for the 2nd round and it was far from dry. Called time out.I remember Drew Pearson doing this years ago on MNF I think it was.J

I was fortunate enough to miss it during the game. Thanks NFL network...TMI :X It would have been nice if they actually mentioned the X-ray instead of showing him hurling. Hope it's nothing serious. Glad to hear it was at least his non throwing hand.

Patrick Chuckwurah (reserve DE for the Broncos) was hurling when the Pats went no-huddle against the Broncos this year (on the first TD drive against Denver). Between McNabb, Chuckwurah, and "Any Given Sunday" (the movie, not the motto), I'm beginning to think this is a pretty common occurance. Now I'm just waiting for someone's eye to pop out on the field.

I hope that someday, an NFL field will see a recreation of this.

I'm not sure why exactly this would be true because of the Philly game... Gradkowski didn't do much of anything (13-26/104/0/0). The Bucs won because of their defense... Though to Gradkowski's credit, one of the things he didn't do was turn the ball over...

You can't be serious.13-26-104 is at best average. He didn't complete more than 3 passes on ANY drive. It was awful. He had 46 yards on one drive and they still didn't score.Ronde Barber was the offense. Gradkowski did next to nothing.
