MFL down? (1 Viewer)

CBS did offer two options because of their poor service. One was an immediate cash back (i forget the amount but I took that) and the other was a 50% discount on this years service.

As for yelling at you, I really do not understand why anyone would. You did not get what you paid for. I would however suggest implementing a rule in your league that if any changes can not be made to a teams roster or line up due to site failure, they can and must be emailed to both the commissioner and the team you are playing.

The outage caused a little bit of a problem in my league, but everyone is ok with it for now. I should probably put a backup plan in place for roster moves, but I do agree that a host site should be reliable enough so that the backup plan should never be needed.

I contacted MFL with my issue and Mike wrote me back and explained the issue. I'm fine with the explanation and I understand things happen occasionally. As long as the problem doesn't persist I'm fine with MFL. Their customer service has actually been very good this year, my first year, with them.

This week was the first time any problems arose in my league though. A couple/few weeks of not being able to log in or having limited access and I can understand people being upset, I would be too. The problems in my league haven't been for multiple weeks though.

So G###R is part of the staff of MFL? That explains why he was on my ###...
:lmao: How do you read his statement and think it says I work at MFL?
I'm just asking??? wether you do or don't... doesn't matter. You just seem very passionate about this service... much more than anyother poster in this thread.
I think he's more passionate about his dislike for you than he is about MFL's service.
:lmao: Thats actually pretty funny

Quote any post of mine where I said anything in support of MFL. You obviously haven't even read my posts. My whole beef has been that you:1. Hit a problem that hurt your league.2. Didn't implement any work around for your league should it ever happen again.3. Hit the SAME problem and it hurt your league again.4. Still didn't implement any work around for your league.5. Had pointed out to you how it's pretty easy to handle it so this kind of issue, should you ever hit it, won't hurt your league.6. Refused to even consider implementing a fix because you'd rather tar and feather your service provider. That's apart from the whole lack of reading comprehension thing putting words in others mouths. I expect a good commish to not only work with the provider to make sure it doesn't continue to happen, but to not let problems hurt his league when there's no reason they have to. You have flatly refused to do the latter. And any time someone points this out to you, you just accuse them of supporting MFL.

Yeap... He Hate MeLook dude... I'm not getting into with u again. But remind me again which one of my 3 leagues your in.... none!truth is; your only speculating on how I am as a commish; you have no idea how I handle things..Now everyone here defending MFL (or just hating me) says the solution is easy... and that might be true for the commish... but what about the FF manager thats affected. Heres a quick example....Its Sunday afternoon; games start at 1:00 and I have Maroney in my line up and Morris on my Bench... I come home after being out with the wife and kid at 12:45... boot up the PC. I goto Rotoworld and find out that Maroney is not active... Its 12:50 (right when the problems with MFL started)... and I attempt to go on my league homepage to quickly change my line up... but I can't... the homepage isn't loading!!! Its past 12:55 now and I panic thinking something is wrong with my internet... I reboot my PC (my PC is slow and this action take 3 too 4 minutes)... I again attempt to load the homepage but can't!!! its now past 1:00pm and the NE game started.... what do I do :goodposting: Yea.. I email the commish as soon as the site goes back up.. but my time stamp is past gametime and then what does he do... And then you have to explain to the other owner that this guy wanted Morris but couldn't put him in because the site was down... he'll surely call BS Yes... a good commish goes "since there was a problem with the service... I will make the change in your line up"... but wait; another owner (who was not affected) gets wind of whats going on and he quickly tells the commish a story of how the he was screwed and he wants a line up change too... what then??? :)You see... its just not that simple.... I paid MFL $89.99 to prevent these things
