MFL Waiver Wire Question (1 Viewer)

The following order of events occurred in the dynasty league I commish on MFL:

1. The initial round of waivers were processed on Wednesday.

2. After waivers were processed an owner picked up Jason Hill and dropped Cecil Shorts.

3. He changed his mind and decided to make a claim for Cecil Shorts. Anyways, I also made a claim for Cecil Shorts. He had the 6th waiver priority while I had the 9th waiver priority. On Saturday, my claim on him was successful despite the lower priority.

When a player is dropped in our league, he is locked for two days and waivers are processed automatically.

So my question is, was waivers processed incorrectly or can you not claim a player you dropped? I know on both yahoo and fleaflicker you cannot claim a player you dropped. He must clear waivers on those sites. I was unable to find an answer in MFL's help section. There forums have low traffic so while I posted my question there I figured there are enough knowledgeable people here that I could get the correct answer here much faster. Thanks.

I sent a support ticket to MFL regarding my issue. It says to expect a reply within 24 hours. It's been 29 hours since I submitted it. Anyone have any experience on how long it typically takes MFL to respond to a support ticket?

I'm sure it depends on how complex the ticket is, I've had them reply within a couple of hours before.

I don't think there is any MFL rule against reclaiming a player. Are you sure he actually correctly made the claim? We've had instances where someone thought the claim was submitted but for some reason, it was never entered. The commish (if you're not him) should be able to check this.

Yeah, I check it. He submitted a claim for Cecil Shorts and to drop a player who was still on his team when the waiver was processed. I had to turn off commissioner lockout to look at his specific waiver requests as the request does not show up as a failed request under "Previously processed requests" as they normally do. So it's kind of weird.
