NE sure doesn't look sharp this game, and especially this half, against one of the worst football teams of all time.

I can't watch the game, just watching nfl.com, but it does kind of reek of desperation at this point. I don't blame them at all for going for these records, but at this point I would have saved it for next week.
 
No, if the Patriots lose in the playoffs, this season wont be talked about that much in the future. Yeah, sure they were good but they didnt win the Superbowl or it wont be in the discussion. Look what happened to the Mavs in the NBA last year. Awesome fricken season, had the MVP, didnt do anything in the playoffs, that team probably wont be in the discussion at all for one of the greatest teams.

 
Best team of all time is based on trying to score ridiculous TD's in games that are out of hand? That just doesnt do much for me. But all these idiots like 60 minutes, chris collinsworth, etc seems to think so. I will wait till they win at least a playoff game

I agree 100%. Doesn't mean they shouldn't try to make history if they have it laid out for them.At this point though, they need to pack it up for week 16.

Well, I am not surprised, given their tendencies this year, but the smart thing would have been to run the ball more in the second half. The game would probably be over now.

:pickle: They wanted to get Brady the record at home, but throwing three straight times out of the end zone is asking for trouble.
