**Miami at Buffalo** (-14, 44) Sun at 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Play calling issues were obviously the main story, but Phins receivers' inability to make any play on the ball all game long was the other. They were either wide open, or they didn't catch it. Didn't come down with anything close to a contested catch. Even that last play was very catchable for Gesicki.

They dropped several that weren’t even really contested. Honestly was a sloppy game all around - both teams made enough plays to win but also enough screwups to deserve to lose. For the sake of the games going forward I’m glad to see Buffalo advance but they got lucky.
Buffalo was lucky, but Miami was even luckier with near catches by BUF receivers that could've put the game away earlier.

McDaniels is an awful coach.
Another way of looking at it is he took a MASH unit on the road in the playoffs and nearly pulled a massive upset behind a 7th round rookie QB. Let's have some perspective.
Agreed. Getting that 4th down call in late was bad, but, yeah, he had them right there in a game today no one thought they had a chance to win. They are a QB away from being a real contender.

Also Miami got let off the hook 3 times late in the game with pre-snap whistles (2 Buffalo timeouts and a fakse start) that nullified terrible results.

Ahmed was closer on his 3rd down than Singletary was.

Just put a damn chip in the ball. So stupid.
Seriously. Billion dollar business. Uses ref eyeballing spot on the field 25 yards away.
Refs are gonna do something to help Buffalo if they need it.
Called it. Gifted the game winning 1st down a half yd short.
There’s like a 90% chance Allen converts on a QB dive on 4th and inches. Maybe even a higher chance than that.

Not saying Buff doesn't win that game. But that was a lame way to end it. With a bad spot and not even a measurement. There's better more accurate ways to measure the first.
