**Miami at Washington** (+9.5, 49.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

You know what they say about next-game success rates for teams that make major coaching shakeups?

It's a load of crap.

That said, the Washington team DBA Commanders cover +9.5

Rivera's taken over the DC role, and has talked individually to all defensive coaching staff members and talked to them all as a group. He's eliminating a bit of the "read" part of what I can best describe as "read, then react" strategy that del Rio was using. Commanders defenders often were slow to react and looked confused, and I guess that's his attempt to lessen those problems. No idea how it'll work. Miami should blow out Washington, so if Washington at least keeps it close that'll help Rivera make things a little more respectable on his way out the door at the end of the season.

If del Rio was still the Washington DC, Miami would have a shot at 70 points in this game.

Big home dog here.
Dolphins drop a notch when on the road.
Enough to get upset here?
I don't think so...

Fins- 27
Commies- 20

Buddy of mine is sitting on the 50 yd line 2nd deck today rooting for the Phins.
Lives in NC and was gifted some tickets by a co-worker, called me from the stadium, said it's in the 50s, overcast but not real windy
Seems like a good day to throw the football for both teams.

Miami 28-24, think it will be closer than many think.

I take full responsibility for this decision, but due to your post I swapped out Miami defense for Jacksonville.

"You cannot get into a shootout if you're Washington"

-Stink

And Washington lines up in the shotgun formation on 1st Down ready to try and set up a long bomb

Miami 78 yd TD strike to Hill
Miami D then 3 n out with a Van Ginkel sack on 3rd and long
Miami will have a chance to blow the doors off early
We haven't seen Waddle score from long range often this season, would like to see them send him on a fly route up the sideline and let Tua loft one out there for him to go after

-I would continue to just throw long strikes, if Miami can extend the lead, run the ball a lot in the 2nd Half but right now continue to hit the gas

Waddle another nice catch and especially the run after the catch, good vision
Miami good chance at the FG

And he makes it
Miami 10-0 and feels like a nice lead so far.
Miami Defense looks prime to create a turnover or two today, hope they cash in

It's an awful stadium, but sounds like he got good seats at least

Dammit. Your blocked. Ha ha

Brian Robinson 28 yard run, running over Miami defenders, splitting tackles, great run for Washington as they march into Miami territory

Howell getting hit hard as he was releasing the ball to TMcL down the field, big play by Long on the hit, big play by Howard to break up a terrific throw by Howell

Howell comes back and burns Miami/Baker-LB, Baker is now DOWN
