Miami / Tampa Game Tread (1 Viewer)

I was interested in seeing how Caddy looks, & my initial reaction is he has lost much of his quickness. He looks like a borderline pro prospect right now. I don't want to be overly critical since this is his first action in quite some time, but no way Caddy keeps Ward off the field unless he improves significantly.
We watching the same game?
Yea that was weird. Caddy was impressive.

Dolphins fan here. Yes Im grateful for Pennington's positive impact on the team last year. But I hate when he throws the ball underneath on 3rd and long. :football:

On the kick return, and in an earlier game Miami played, I couldn't help but wonder if Ginn put on some weight. He is starting to look like an NFL player.

Exactly, whether he was high kicking, cutting on a dime...this guy was left for dead, blown out his kness, steps ont he field and racks 32 yds on the 1st drive, yeah that guy just sucks. Coach says he is their RB1, he cleared and is not just practicing but starting in the 3rd preseason game, he can be had for a sawn right now...but lets pretend to not look at any of that and jsut say that he is washed up, must be the shark move.Granted the guy has never completed a season but for the price you would pay he could easily be the guy that might push you over the hump. Drafted as an RB5 at bet for a lot of teams...you could do a lot worse. I'm pulling for him, will be at the CITS for the season opener against Dallas too so I can get a good look at him in person week 1 as well.

Good question...how bout WR2BBC???I think Camarillo and Hartline will rotate and I have said all along Bess is a slot guy. All 3 of them will likely have their weeks.Ginn-60+ receptionsCamarillo-40-50Bess-40-50Hartline-30-45FF owners will be frustrated with the Miami passing game and who the real WR2 is there. Take Ginn in the 7th-9th and elt others figure out the WR2 in Miami...my .02

I thought Hartline had moved up to 2, Bess was 3 and Camarillo 4th, speculation was the knee wasn't responding.

I will try to find a link to where I read this.

Caddy did have some huge holes to run through.

Hartline started tonight and he did last week too, iirc.

 I thought he looked damn good.

 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Let's tear him apart because he had huge holes to run through...don't draft Caddy because he had huge holes to run through. I know I'm putting words in your mouth but the implication of this statement is pretty darn funny.

I don't think Camarillo has caught a pass in preseason but I could be wrong...he is still recovering from the knee injury last year but he is on pace to play soon. I just think it is a fluid spot and you won't be able to bank on Hartline coming in and doing a lot day 1.

Oh no. The offensive line is opening up holes too? That's awful news for a running back.

Yep. Nor should we say "nice job" to the o-line for making those holes either.

lol at CITS. Haven't heard that in a while.
Now that was "bitter" on my part. You are likely the only person on this board that would even get that joke.
 CT was a great one. Really the only guy I ever made must-listen on the am dial.
I got the CITS. Fun times back then. I think I have a shirt somewhere from a golf tourney with all of his catch-phrases on it..."Where all the white women at".

 Chris Thomas was sorely missed in Tampa. He taught me more about sports betting than anyone I know. I used to sit with him while he would do his 5 star handicap show live from Ybor on Fridays and we would discuss all the games.

I really don't want to overreact, but Caddy looks like he should be drafted/owned in all leagues. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I think he could very well be the Bucs #1 RB. Kinda sucks for me as a Graham owner, but its nice to see Caddy looking so good.

For those that have already drafted and are in deeper leagues, it's starting to look like a solid wire move... Will be curious to see where he moves to with regards to projections and ADP after his showing...

yeah, hes lost a step.that one good run, he probably woulda scored on before the injury.but I will say that even though hes recovered to the point where he can play.... he probably is not yet 100%. I'm sure he will get better as the season progresses.on the plus side, his ability to read the play & find the hole is as good as it ever was. maybe even better.

Just an observation but on the 19 yard gain on 3rd and five, they had the perfect play call. Miami stunted and actually opened up most of the hole themselves. I am not saying that Caddy sucks or that TB's line shouldn't be given credit just reporting what I saw.

I've been banging my head for two ### #### months trying to figure out what people here see in Leftwich. He is just terrible. Cannot leave the pocket, is inaccurate and has absolutely no touch. If McCown doesn't win this thing I'm going to be in disbelief.
I'd be in disbelief if a 5-year vet with a td/int ratio of 9/10 led my teamthen again, jason campbell leads my team :lmao:

Sure looked like Joey Porter whiffed on the tackle as well...and what I mean is he couldn't catch Cadillac which would make me think he does still have some burst. I have seen thousands of holes that are open and the back misses them. In fact on almost every run you see at least 1 OL that got the better of the deal but if the RB doesn't see it and just runs to where the placall was then it really is all for not. Caddy looked as though he was scoping for the holes. he wasn't caught behind the line one time if my memory serves...he was moving it 3 and 4 yds, then found a nice hole...tell me I'm wrong but that would seem to be a good indicator that he is playing well. It's not the 19 yd hole, its the other 4 runs that were all positive as well.Ward had 4 carries for 4 yds...same OL, same DL running against...I'm just saying.

:lmao: Was comparing Ward's showing to Caddy's. Caddy had two nice openings, while Ward had nothing.

Unless I'm mistaken, Bess is the #2 receiver right now...some mix of Camarillo/Turner/Hartline as the remainder slot/#3.

EG and CW back to back plays...Carnell is clearly quicker.
I'll take Graham over Ward based on tonight's performance. Graham looks easily the strongest of the three and quicker than Ward too. Caddy is displaying superb vision, adequate burst and average speed. Pretty much what he was at Auburn. He used to look a little stronger, but he's played how much football lately? I think Williams gets better as the season goes on (if he doesn't go on IR again) and is the most productive of the three in '09 but only a FFB backup. Not quite a #3.

I totally agree. Ward was slowing down in the hole and looked indecisive.
