Are you sure? I’m pretty sure he was convicted for trying to extort Nike. Attempted extortion isn’t really a crime, right? I’m sure Barr will step in.

Aren't you a lawyer?  Seems weird you would ask that question.  

Back in the day the Democrats were touting him as the next big thing to take on Trump.  Possible Democrat presidential candidate too! 

Remember those days? Yeah, me too. Good times.

Which Democrats were touting Avenatti as the candidate to take on Trump?

 
(If it helps, I do know several people here who said that he was a loudmouth d-bag which makes him the perfect public foil for Trump.)

 
Well he was on CNN 75 times in a 2 1/2 month period and a regular on MSNBC as well.  For some reason our left stations fawned over him.   Even from the start you could tell he was a snake.

Avenatti has a seemingly trustworthy person, under oath, swearing that these things happened.  He got Kavanaugh on the record as to questions he wanted answered.  He's attempted multiple times in the past couple of days to have the FBI interview his client.

It's a serious thing to have someone willing to go under oath and claim an assault took place.  Avenatti has that, and it should be considered evidence of sexual assault by Kavanaugh.

Just a reminder:

Donald Trump, who was unfaithful to all three of his wives, paid a porn star to have unprotected sex just after his wife gave birth to his son. Then he paid her hush money with campaign funds.

Trump did that. He is a man of low character and has not changed. He is a terrible human.

But hey, have fun at your rally while you praise him as your hero!

Ive looked several pages and havent found anyone taking him as anymore than someone slinging crap at Trump.

If there was someone (and its possible) it was one or two people at best.  This wasnt any serious movement here or by democrats

 
Woe is me! Whom shall I vote for now that Michael Avenatti is in jail! I have to rethink the whole election now!

No, at worst he is lying and at best he is mistaken. I should know as the OP of the thread and the title was never Avenati 2020. Never.

The title was last edited on September 18, 2018. Before that date you can find someone saying in a post it was rumored he was running in 2020 and people responding to that, but it wasn't taken seriously by anyone here, including me.

He needs to start using Mike instead of Michael, and insisting that it is pronounced to rhyme with Nike.  When he signs his name he should underline it with a swoosh.

If he ever got out and ever ran for any office and I were his opponent in a debate I would show up wearing nothing but Nike apparel.
