Michael Avenatti Thread (1 Viewer)

He should be popular in prison. Free legal advice. A lot to talk about. Stormy Daniels. Fast cars. I hope they don't take twitter away from him.

More Avenatti: on MSNBC:

"I am highly confident that in coming weeks we are going to negotiate a resolution with Michael Cohen related to the civil litigation that we have with him... cooperating with me in our attempts to get to the truth and bring Trump to justice."
Some great posts in this thread

The extent there was any doubt as to the lack of professionalism of @TuckerCarlson or @FoxNews before tonight, there is no longer. What happened with the chyron tonight was a disgrace. Complete garbage - trash television. A new low.
Your love affair with him was embarrassing.

Victory laps being taken before the race is over?

Avenatti has a seemingly trustworthy person, under oath, swearing that these things happened.  He got Kavanaugh on the record as to questions he wanted answered.  He's attempted multiple times in the past couple of days to have the FBI interview his client.

It's a serious thing to have someone willing to go under oath and claim an assault took place.  Avenatti has that, and it should be considered evidence of sexual assault by Kavanaugh.
I think now is appropriate for victory laps

Totally pointing out what a joke this guy was from the beginning. And I have only read the first three pages. The love affair with him was disgusting. And you led the charge. Own it.
I led the charge?  That is false.

Michael Avenatti responds to charges:

Maybe if Grassley was actually a lawyer that knew something about the law, he would realize what he has done. He just opened up Pandora’s box as it relates to Justice Kavanaugh’s conduct. It is Christmas in October!

It is ironic that Senator Grassley now is interested in investigations. He didn’t care when it came to putting a man on the SCOTUS for life. We welcome the investigation as now we can finally get to the bottom of Judge Kavanaugh’s lies and conduct. Let the truth be known.

John Adams defended the British soldiers in the Boston Massacre. He was a good guy.

Alan Dershowitz defended porn actor Harry Reems on obscenity charges. He is considered a good guy (although I don't agree with his recent stands on legal issues).

Avenatti defended Daniels is a civil case unrelated to her adult film career. That, by itself, does not make him a bad guy.

Defending an unpopular defendant or a person the public has a strong disapproval of does not make any attorney a bad guy.
here's a good one

Returning to the actual thread topic...

I want to be clear: I DID NOT commit domestic violence nor have I ever committed domestic violence. I did not strike any woman nor have I ever. I did not strike my ex-wife in the face nor did I hit anyone else in the face. I am a decent man & I look forward to being exonerated.

There is a lot of inaccurate reporting out there. For example, (1) I have NOT been charged with anything, let alone a felony; (2) Lisa wasn't even with me Tues; etc. Numerous other "facts" being reported are completely bogus. Why is TMZ's news "standard" the new standard?

I will stand by that Zekepa, whoever you are or were, along with my other posts in this thread.

Michael Avenatti was newsworthy and most of what has been bumped and called a love affair was simply reporting what he said in the (check the title) Michael Avenatti Thread, not an endorsement of him or any of his statements. And the Fox chyron on Tucker was inappropriate for a guest being interviewed.

Again with the FALSE accusation of me being an alias. It only takes a few minutes on this board to get a handle on your schtick. You continued to post tweets that made him look good or ones that defended him. You were not just posting newsworthy items. Give me a break.

Good for you . Pete Carroll still stands behind his goal line call in Super Bowl XLIX

And this could not have been more appropriate. The guy was scum from the get go and just because he bashed Trump you and many others adored him.

This is what I said:

I still believe that and stand by it.

Hindsight is 20/20. Avenatti turned out to be what his strongest critics accused him of (actually much worse) but not because he defended an unpopular defendant like Stormy Daniels.

"Guys, I never liked Avenatti.  I just followed him on Twitter and spammed the thread with re-posted material that made him look good."
OMG...Hilarious. Then he disappeared for quite some time when it started to look bad for his hero. He came back late in the game for a few guest appearances.

Another classic
Hm, I think the *most frequently stated positive comment about Avenatti was that he was most like Trump than any other public figure. He attacked Trump like Trump attacked others. Yes, it’s true, he turned some on. Maybe they should have realized, maybe they did, that he was emulating Trump himself. Narcissistic and opportunistic, pleading to the base by emanating emotion people most want to hear, it’s admittedly dangerous, and con men like that typically do indeed end up in jail.

MICHAEL AVENATTI HINTS JULIE SWETNICK MAY FILE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST BRETT KAVANAUGH

Michael Avenatti hints that his client Julie Swetnick may file a criminal complaint against Brett Kavanaugh for alleged sexual assault when they were teenagers. “She may very well pursue criminal charges against the people involved,” Avenatti said.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s Am Joy, Avenatti says he has other witnesses, who can state unequivocally that they saw Kavanaugh engage in aggressive behavior with young girls, including groping.

“If the FBI is prepared to do their job like they do everyday in this country, Brett Kavanaugh will not survive this process,” Avenatti said. “If they [FBI] are permitted to interview witnesses that know of these allegations, there is no way Kavanaugh will be placed on the U.S. Supreme Court nor should he,” he continued.

Avenatti says if his client isn’t a part of the FBI probe, he will take the case to the American public. He also called Kavanaugh a liar and challenged him to sit for a deposition as his client has pledged to do if asked.

“Brett Kavanaugh is a liar. He is not credible” and is “lying to the committee and to the American people,” Avenatti said. He added that the entries in the yearbook from his high school mirrored the prep school environment was in the D.C. area.

Avenatti slammed Kavanaugh’s Fox News interview and testimony as “absurd” in light of the entries in his high school yearbook that mirrored the prep school environment in the D.C. area at the time.
:lmao:

I forgot all about Swetnick

Good news.....this fighter hasn’t been ruled out yet. We should keep an eye on this.  :blackdot:

This is from August 2019. Though, have to say, from the Stormy Daniel saga, the attorney who beat the president in court is in jail, the attorney who defended the President is in jail, and the attorney who stepped in as the President’s new attorney is under investigation. And the President himself was impeached. That was certainly the maelstrom of crap surrounding all this. The only one who never landed in trouble was the porn star. However one of them will still be running for President.
