I had high hopes for Huff at the beginning of the season. Don't get me wrong...the guy didn't fall flat on his face. However, Huff simply was not around the ball as much as I hoped.
With the Raiders offense leading only six other teams in TOP, Huff was on the field a lot. He managed 74 total tackles (62 solos and 12 assists). Alarmingly, he essentially had zero BIG plays. No INT's. No sacks. No FF's. Other than one safety and one PD, Huff was merely chasing the guy with the pigskin.
Most (...if not all) IDP leagues award additional points for big plays. Should IDP'ers prepare themselves for Huff as simply a "tackle-only" safety who's limited in big plays?? Big plays involved anticipation...and you cannot teach instincts and I highly doubt Huff gets any faster.
