Michael Pittman on Steroids? (2 Viewers)

It is very possible for a man at that age, with good genetics to have muscles like that with just the right diets, supplements and workout routine
I think it's possible also, but it's just rare to see development like that in a guy that's not using roids...
You havn't been to a gym lately have you? All it takes is good genetics, a good workout program, a good diet, and some natural legal supplements.
:wall:

I don't understand why people assume steroids. I've known guys with similar (if not as defined) builds, and they were just regular guys with a hobby. It's his job to be strong, I don't think it's that much of a stretch that he spends a fair amount of time getting that way.

For all those who believe that I have some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell on the cheap! It is almost a necessity to use some type of performance enhancers in the NFL. How much intense weight training do you think these guys get in between August and January to maintain that type of physique and performance? People want to believe that their beloved athlete’s do not partake in such acts simply because of the evils wrongfully associated with steroids. I personally know NFL players who have used them along with police officers, teachers, and doctors. Individuals who I would trust to care for my offspring if need be despite their use. On the other hand, I know individuals that are not on steroids who I wouldn’t trust with my ex’s mother (and I wish upon her severe illness). Steroids make athletes better, period. They have no choice but to use them. Don’t get me wrong, not everyone use’s them. There are those elite individuals who’s natural ability surpass the need for them but in most case’s, Randy Moss’s we are not.

pittman easily has 20"+ arms...i'm sorry but you don't know any casual weight lifters like that.

Maybe his running partner showed him the underground drug scence in the Tampa gyms(Alstott). Alstott is about the biggest back I have ever scence that wasn't a Kinnerbrew type......

Do you guys know anything about nutrition and exercise? With the right macros at the right times and add in exercise, you will lose bodyfat and gain muscle at the same time.

You don't need intense wieght training to retain muscle mass.. its all in the diet. Give your body the fuel it needs, it won't use muscle for fuel. Add one hour of full body lifting a week and you can easily stay the same size. I hadn't lifted for a year and my arms are the same size as they were when I quit.

We are not talking average Joe here. You do not retain that type of physique (vascularity, density, and body fat) without serious training and yes, pharmaceutical enhancers. Try training hard for 6 months and then go beat the crap out of yourself for another 6 months including weight training and strict diet or not and I guarantee you will not look the same, especially someone with that type of physique.

I know some guys like that and back when I used to lift more regularly I was one of them. You guys need to get off the computer and check out a gym sometime.

Crazy talk, right there.

all he would need to do to maintain his muscle mass is eat more calories then he burns... simple as thathe might have been on steroids, but you don't need to stay on steroids to maintain what you already have.

Being in shape and living a healthy lifestyle is one thing, having arms that are ripped up and the size of most people thighs is another. I was at tampa's training camp, and I saw him up close and he looks like an action figure. His arms were so big, they didn't fit through the shells they had on the practice field, so they ripped off the sleeves so he could wear the shirt.I actually go to, and have been to many different gyms, and I've yet to see anyone that size, that I didn't feel was juicing. But believe what you want to believe..

football is an intense sport, you don't lose a great amount of muscle mass by doing it. High intensity cardio might actually built muscle mass and burn fat at the same time because of the high heart rate. Who knows, maybe Pittman's taking some arginine during the game and getting a huge pump fighting off tacklers and taking down some creatine and protein right after the game, he might be gaining muscle each game instead of losing it. You guys that are talking about going to the gyms, it is not common to see guys of that size who are naturals, but it's completely possible.
