He's only a good #2 option in 20 team leagues. WHy would Tampa go back to using this guy more than Graham when Graham has shown he can shoulder the load....and do it well?Just picked him up. I expect him to back week 12. Look at the playoff schedule:9 vs Cardinals 10 Bye 11 at Falcons 12 vs Redskins 14 at Texans 15 vs Falcons 16 at 49ers 17 vs Panthers Looks like a good RB #2 option for the playoffs
When he comes back and he's 100%, he will be the starter. He was when he was hurt, and Graham has not shouldered the load, he beat the Lions up and has shown why he's been a #3 for a few years. He's good, as in average.Michael Bennett won't cost them much, since he looks not so good.I would grab Pittman if you have a spot to give. JMHOsounds like Pittman might be ready to play again in week 11. what is the prognosis on his impact? does he get the 3rd down role, split carries with Graham, or have no impact at all?
I don't know where you got all this from, but it's basically completely wrong. When he comes back and he's 100%, he will be the starter. He was when he was hurt, and Graham has not shouldered the load, he beat the Lions up and has shown why he's been a #3 for a few years.
Pittman will get 3rd down duties and a few series, but a full starting role is laughable.I don't know where you got all this from, but it's basically completely wrong. When he comes back and he's 100%, he will be the starter. why - he looked to be the starter before he got hurt? Graham hasn't looked bad but Gruden strikes me as a coach that likes to go with the proven veteran if healthy.Pittman will get 3rd down duties and a few series, but a full starting role is laughable.I don't know where you got all this from, but it's basically completely wrong. When he comes back and he's 100%, he will be the starter. With RB's getting knocked out weekly, and with Pittman having some time off from constant pounding, I wouldn't discount Pittman entirely.Any many league people are picking up "XMAN Do" in Houston, Ryan Grant in GB and Michael Bush in OAK. It's not a stretch to think Graham could wear out from the pounding he's just beginning to grow accustomed to.That being said, would you be shocked if he was a hot waiver pickup in 3 weeks? The shark move is to pick up waiver wire values a week or two early. That would be this week or next.Pittman will get 3rd down duties and a few series, but a full starting role is laughable.I don't know where you got all this from, but it's basically completely wrong. When he comes back and he's 100%, he will be the starter. Correct,And I can tell you that when Pittman gets back, he'll be the man with great confidence.I did state when he is 100%, he'll be the starter. That may not be week 11.I get great TB info.Beggin4Par said:With RB's getting knocked out weekly, and with Pittman having some time off from constant pounding, I wouldn't discount Pittman entirely.Any many league people are picking up "XMAN Do" in Houston, Ryan Grant in GB and Michael Bush in OAK. Bennett may not get more chances, but to say "he looks not so good" is a mistatement. How can he not look good when in two games with a new team, in a new offense, where he barely knows the plays or the players he is:5/43 and a TDWhy wouldn't you give a guy like that more chances now that he is getting to know the offense better?softball said:When he comes back and he's 100%, he will be the starter. Very few RBs catch the ball as well as Pittman.Graham has impressed the Tampa heads. He did well against Jacksonville last week. He will have another good game this week. 120 total yards a TD most likely. Pittman will probably get around 8 total touches per game when he comes back. Maybe as high as 12. It shouldn't detract from Graham all that much. In fact, I see it as beneficial as Graham will be spelled from time to time keeping him fresh until the end of the game. Remember, Graham isn't taken out of the equation simply because they are down by a significant margin. The dude can catch the ball.
Hello...Buccaneers | Pittman a game-time decisionFri, 2 Nov 2007 15:15:18 -0700Roy Cummings, of The Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Michael Pittman (ankle) participated in practice Friday, Nov. 2. He is listed as questionable for Week 9 and will be a game-time decision.
Please explain.I get great TB info.
Why? He's the second string RB on the team. Graham has shown he can shoulder the load. I wouldn't be too thrilled with him unless you have very poor options on your team.I just picked him up off the waiver wire....and am quite happy about it.
Say it enough and you'll start to believe it. Graham has been good, because that's what he is.Pittman is better, which is why Caddy was the starter, Pittman the backup and Graham 3rd String. You most definitley own Graham.Anon. Bob:I have someone I know well close to the team. Why? He's the second string RB on the team. Graham has shown he can shoulder the load. You are correct from a stat angle. You are incorrect from a WIN angle.Gruden has won a SUPER BOWL with Pittman as his primary back. I don't think he has forgotten that, nor should we IMO. We'll see...but I will stick by my opinion that Pittman will play a big part in the Bucs O going forward.EdwardCat said:Why? He's the second string RB on the team. I believe Pittman will play a part. There is no doubt about that. He always has. I just don't see him regaining the starting role. You are correct from a stat angle.
