At least I now know that the reason he kept running into linemen and falling down was because he was drunk.

Always amazes me that these guys don't just get a car service to drive them around, Über is in Atlanta.
NFL used to but the ownership would use it to spy on players and used it against them in negotiations. The NFLPA took over the service but now the players have to pay each time they use it. It's not a lot compared to what the players get paid but it seems more expensive than a cab. My guess is the players don't trust it and they are drunk when the time arrives to decide if they are sober enough to drive.

it appears his BAC was higher than his YPC...

ETA: heard he attempted to run from the police, but was tackled and cuffed after 2 yards.

Rodgers still doesnt look like a back that could sustain offense....any chance this opens the door for Snelling who has always been exemplary in a relief role?

As a Jacquizz owner... :excited:

I'm guessing the NFL will let this play out and then render a decision. Thinking Burner will try to delay the closing of the court case, since Goodell won't do anything until that is cleared up. Either way, what an idiot. He's not doing a ton to help his cause on the field, so starts getting in trouble off of it? Let Jacquizz get his shot at this point, for better or worse, to at least confirm what they have in him.

Trying to think positively here, as I don't like Turner very much but did think he was excellent value at the price I got him at in an auction.

Maybe he's been going a little heavy on the alcohol even before last night? This snaps him back to reality and he cleans up a bit?

A bit? Please?

I swear, 97mph is about the norm every time I've ever driven through Atlanta during off peak hours. Dude's lucky to be alive and fortunate that he didn't kill anyone.
