Michelle Obama 2020 (1 Viewer)

She is worthless, forcing American school children to eat crap lunches that they hate while her kids eat real food at the school they attend. She is as big a hypocrite as both clinton and her husband.

She is not liked as much as you think she is.
She's liked more than you are, but so is the common German cockroach.

She ain't running. She doesn't want the job. The Obamas are not the Clintons. No way she jumps back into that grind in 2 1/2 years.

I agree- but he's going to get all his programs gutted: Obamacare, the EPA regulations on coal, the Paris Climate Change agreement, the trade deals, the Iran deal, his exec orders on illegal immigrants- all of his accomplishments are now at risk. She could bring them all back.
So, Michelle in 2020, some Republican from out of no where in 2024?

How about Rosalynn Carter in 2020? She will be 93 at the time which could concern some people but if we are considering candidates whose only qualification is they were married to a President we should really include her in the conversation.

My daughter raised this to me this morning. Her friends st high school were talking about it. At first I thought, she's got no government experience. But Trump ended that.

Shes the biggest name the Dems can put up. She's the best speaker they have. She's got no scandals. And she can redeem her husbands legacy. So why not?
You've officially jumped the shark.

Tipper Gore should be put in also because her husband won the popular vote.

America just voted by a pretty overwhelming margin to support a buffoon over the same old established people that are always shoved down their throats, and now Michelle Obama is your choice?

Thats exactly the lack of imagination the DNC has shown the past 4 years and a perfect example of seeing the public as fools.  Until the party stops treating people like idiots who can't see past a last name, all 3 branches will remain red.

Saw the thread title and chuckled a little. Then I saw who started it and I was like  :wall: Then I read it and chuckled again.

Trump winning doesn't mean that any unqualified celebrity can win now. It just means that ANYONE can beat Hillary.

Couldn't any other Democratic candidate do so as well?  Anyone who wanted to redeem what Obama and the democrats had done?  Couldn't, for instance, Joe Biden decide he wanted to redeem the Obama/Biden/Democratic legacy?

Because the public keeps voting in the person that they'd rather have a beer with.  People would much rather have a beer with Trump than Michelle.  And yes I know Trump doesn't drink, its a euphemism.  Second Trump has plenty of experience in the business world, so his election doesn't end the experience argument.

The real problem for the 2020 democrat field is that its a group of people no-one wants to have a beer with.  Warren and Bernie are too old.  Kaine, Booker, Castro, Cuomo, Michelle(?). Martin O'Malley is the only one with personality & would be a great general election candidate but I doubt he can escape the primaries.

Michelle Obama in Vogue.

Quite a layout.

For the third time.

- Michelle Obama has been a GREAT First Lady. And I think we have had several really good First Ladies, including Laura Bush, Barbara Bush... and Michelle like them really, really appears to have enjoyed the role of First Lady.

You know who did not enjoy being First Lady and would have never done this kind of Jackie Kennedy thing? Hillary.

Michelle does not want to be a politician and I can't blame her.

A lot of schoolkids hate her because they blame Michelle for massive school lunch restrictions.  Turning off younger Americans isn't a great thing.

I like Booker, always have and I think he's pretty relatable. And the DNC just made a mistake by pushing their younger candidates to the back for Hillary. We would know their names better if they had been encouraged to run. I think this is one of the great collateral damage effects of Hillary's campaign.
