It seems I am ending up with a 6-8 pick in every draft this year. What are you guys leaning towards for drafting in the middle of the first and second round? In my mocks I find myself choosing between WR's like AJ or Hopkins and RB's like Elliot, Bell or sometimes Gurley if the first picks go WR heavy. In the 2nd round I find myself choosing between WR's like Marshall or Jefferey of RB's like Charles, Lacy or Ingram.
Most mocks I have been getting AJ or Zeke in round 1 and Marshall or Charles in round 2. So far I have liked the teams I get after starting AJ & Marshall then stockpiling RBs.
However, I love Elliot. In drafts were I take him, I have been trying to get Marshall in the 2nd. In round 3 I am try to grab another WR in the Hilton, Benjamin, Maclin group. After that I go back to stockpiling RB's.
Any thoughts on this? What have you been seeing when drafting from the middle? I'm focusing on early rounds in this post, because the mid and late round targets don;t really change to much based on draft spot.
