Mid-Round RBs - who do you like going forward? (1 Viewer)

Who would you be most comfortable with the rest of the way?

Turner: Surely can beat up on lesser defenses, but schedule gets much more difficult, including a terrible playoff schedule. Also, still questions regarding the young QB and whether or not the team can consistently move the chains. Is week 2 representative of what to expect against solid defenses?

E. Graham: Supposed to be the workhorse in TB, but Dunn has been very much involved. He got shut down in CHI as we saw Griese throw 67 times. That said, he has looked impressive in weeks 1 and 2, ripping off big plays and powering through defenses.

Chris Johnson: Everyone loves him. But his produtions has declined since week 1. Any TD's he scores will likely come from plays that started between the 20s, as Lendale is the clear goal-line back. A ton of talent, but his scoring will likely be all over the place on a week to week basis.

C. Perry: Bengals look awful, but against the Giants they showed some signs of life finally. Perry has been getting around 20 carries per game, and could be successfull going forward if the offense starts to click. Playing 2 of the best defenses in weeks 1 and 2 did not help in showcasing his talent...but looking ahead he could be very reliable, no??

T. Jones: Improved O-line has worked well for T. Jones, but the Jets offense still looks shaky, and they can't always finish drives. L. Washington has been used in 3rd down and passing situations and is way more explosive, but TJ remains the primary ball carrier.

What do you think? Rank em, pick one, whatever you want -- interested to hear others views...

By the way, my rankings are similar to how I have them listed above:

1. Turner - his propensity for huge games should be enough to vault him to the top

2. E. Graham - the difference between him and the guys below, is that when Graham has a bad day yardage wise, he still tends to find the endzone - forget about last week. he scored 10 TDs last year and didn't start until a few weeks in

3. C. Perry - talented ball carrier, can make guys miss, and should get all TDs on the ground, as well as some TDs from passes in the flat

4. Ch. Johnson - not enough TDs this year to beat out the guys ahead of him -- also hard to get a handle on how many receptions to expect on a weekly basis. If LenDale goes down with an injury, which tends to happen quite a bit, move CJ up to #2.

5. T. Jones - just seems like an average back compared to the rest of the group

2. Turner -

3. Ch. Johnson -

4. C. Perry -

5. T. Jones -

I'd put them like this:

Turner - there is no arguing he has been extremely productive and, though he will have some tough games, he is the one of this group I would want the most for the rest of the season.

C Perry - Cinn seems to be showing a little life and Perry is the ground game for their team. He has shown himself to be tougher than expected and I see him as one of those guys who continually moves up the weekly RB rankings as the season wears on.

E Graham - there is no denying what he did last year and could do it again but Dunn is eating into his carries and Gruden looks like he may pass more this year.

C Johnson - very talented and productive but L White gets the goal line carries. That hurts bad.

T Jones - I have him on a team and wish I had someone else. So far I haven't seen the improvement that was expected with the addition of Favre. Looks like a very average RB to me.
