This happened last hour. Read the description too.

Guy is a lying piece of dirt.
Ha ha that's great. He made the right move....guy was boring.
Wrong. When a caller brings up a player who Mike knows NOTHING about, he pretends he's preoccupied and therefore can't get to the question.

Fraud.
Yeah, he doesn't know him. Maybe he's just bored with hypothetical and idiotic Met trades. You're losing it with this guy.
I couldn't be having more fun making these clips. If that's "losing it"... so be it.

YES pulled the plug on the simulcast. He's being replaced by Michael Kay. Awesome
 Next from The Fan please.

I can't turn it on with him arguing with everyone who calls in. Masochists that they are... :wall:

As much as I enjoy picking out his flaws, I enjoy Mike and the YES show and I wouldnt watch Michael Kay if you paid me. So my viewership of YES will decrease 99.9% as a result.

I hope Mike hooks up with MSG; it's a better home for him anyway as there will be fewer interruptions for Yankees day-games. Also...the Sunday NFL show is a fixture of my third television (out of 7) every Sunday. I wouldnt be happy if that's not on somewhere.

This guy is the best. :lmao:

Yesterday, shouting from the rooftop: "FLORIDA STATE BY DOUBLE-DIGITS!!!"

I called my bookie to put two weeks pay on Auburn +11.

Today, it's hilarious listening to him break out every excuse in the book.

"Florida State thought they could just throw their helmets out there to win."

"Florida State made every mistake they could possibly make."

"Florida State was not prepared."

"Auburn was trying harder."

Basically, everything except "I WAS WRONG!"

My gf finally heard enough the other day. She finally said, after listening to about a year of yelling at the radio, "why do you continue to listen?" I said I have to hear what he says next.

"But if you hate him and it gets you so riled up, why do you do it?"

She doesn't get it. Listening to this charade gives him listeners but I can't help it, he's so bad I need to listen.

Watched him today for about three minutes. Within that time, he completely dismissed a caller doubting Manziel, challenged the caller rudely, and insinuated that Clowney had off-field issues with no proof of anything. It was awful.

Caller, "Mike, I'd like to get your picks of the games." Caller also goes on to another question and makes a mistake/gets nervous about the Pats.

Mike, laughing, "I don't even know what that means. Pats haven't won anything in a decade, so you're in the wrong decade...." Under his breath, "We aren't picking the games until Friday."

Rather than giving some thoughts on the games or even just talking a bit about what he likes, he barely answers the guy after ridiculing him.

I keep watching, though, because he's miserable.

Those are the worst. When a caller asks him question but makes an offhanded comment that riles him up. He goes on and on ridiculing the caller about the little comment and completely ignores the main reason why he called. Happens ALL the time.

In non-Fransisco bashing news, starting in April, Mad Dog will be doing a daily 1-hour show on SiriusXM MLB channel that will be simulcast on MLB Network.

Good lord, Mike is saying on base percentage is a compiler stat. The caller says a compiler stat would be wins and hits and homers due to age and years accrued, not a percentage like batting average and OBP.

This guy doesn't realize Mike will never admit he's wrong.

Today must be Mike's biggest nightmare. He cannot say Rafeael Palmeiro's name. He has tried to say three different ways at least.

Before you ask, I'm not sure why I'm so fired up today over sny other day. He's just gotten under my skin today with this HOF stuff.

"What did Craig Biggio ever lead the league in!?!??!?"

-Stolen bases once, doubles 3 times and runs twice.

Jeff Kent literally never led the league in anything, although he obviously won an MVP

"Tim Raines isn't gonna make the Hall of FAME......Because he didn't play as long"

-Raines played parts of 23 seasons....

SF twice, XBH once, assists as 2B once, double plays as 2b once, errors as 2b 4 times.

HOF

I have some time on my hands tomorrow. I'm going to tell Mike that "Biggio is second all time in hits by pitch, and it might be his most impressive stat." I think his head will pop. Listen for Mike from Montvale. I'm hoping he says, through his disgusted laughs, "now we ahh tawkin HBP? This just shows you, no question, he's not a hawll of faymahh."

This guy is such a pathetic loser. Guy who didn't even know who Al Albuquerque was now has the master key to what should be viable HoF material.

Francesa is so obsessed with being right, he doesnt even realize what hes arguing sometimes. He starts that call off by arguing biggio compiled being on base 15th all time but then proceeds to say his obp was compiled. Those are two different things and he doesnt even realize what hes saying cuz he just wants to defend his point and make the callers look like idiots. That video was all over the place.

I'm still trying to figure out how one "compiles" a percentage. Mind-blowing that he couldn't imagine why ten different listeners called him out on that.

I absolutely LOVE how out of nowhere, he says "So who was a better leadoff hitter.... Craig Biggio or Tim Raines?" and then he cuts off Danny and drops the mic, as if that has ANYTHING TO DO WITH F--KING ANYTHING!!!!

:lmao: :LMAO:

Just before 5 pm eastern yesterday, Mike Francesa explained his two part criteria for determining if a player should be a Hall of Famer. Step 1 is he asks if the player is a Hall of Famer.

Did anyone hear the argument he had with one guy about sandy koufax and ron guidry? A caller was making the albeit dumb point that guidry and koufax had comparable stats. Francesa lambasts him and says who threw more innings? Caller says they threw comparable innings. Mike flips out and says are you nuts. I just looked it up. Guidry threw 2392 vs koufax threw 2324. Mike mustve figured this out cuz then all of a sudden he changes his argument to who threw more innings through their good years? Wtmf?
