Mike and the Mad Dog show (Not Done!) (1 Viewer)

####, I'm so low on Kansas... I can't shake that game against UK.

I was coming here to see who Mike picked before I lay my futures bet and fill out my bracket.

Kansas can't shoot. They can't shoot the ball. They've got guys, they're tall, they're rangy, but you know what? They can't shoot. (15 second pause) And you know what, I think Wichita State could beat them in the second round. At some point you've got to be able to make shots. And Kansas can't shoot, that's all there is to it. I like that one kid, what's his name? Ralph Lauren? Dolce & Gabbanner? (long pause) Perry Ellis. That's the guy. He can shoot, rest of them can't. They can't shoot the ball. Here's the Minkman.

I can't stress enough how unbelievably awful Russo's solo show is. His idiocy and constant mispronunciations were tolerable when he was playing off of Mike. But when he's the only one speaking all day..... bleeding eardrums.

Is Russo still alive? Would anyone even realize it if he weren't?
Whenever I switch to MLB Network, I mute the sound first just in case he happens to be on. He is absolutely unlistenable. Incoherent, is the word that first comes to mid.

MLB does a pretty good job with its analysts, but he drags the whole network down.

How does he keep getting jobs? Truly a mystery. Guess there's never enough hip 55-year-old guys who invent new words.

Big Mike is at his best in two places

- during the NCA tournament doing live play by play

- when we is riffing on a somebody during a live press conference

Sounds like you are getting both today..be glad you are alive

Nobody better. Here are both parts of his rant after the UCLA game. So good.

Mike's contribution to the humor, however unintended, is key here. All I need to do is think of the town of Totowa and I start laughing.
