Mike and the Mad Dog show (Not Done!) (2 Viewers)

Here comes the dead air. JESUS MIKE, say SOMETHING!!!

30/36 30/33 34/36 96, 2

25/25 25/26 75/75

Riveting.

He immediately starts the Sapp interview with the FG debate, like Sapp cares. Sapp says it's 1.9 seconds, we are wasting time.
Can you please explain this one more? It sounds funny if I understand what the heck you were talking about lol

Oh you don't recognize the dead air followed by the stats of Phil Dawson and Matt Prater? If I were Mike I wouldn't even have answered this post.

LOL I think you presented this perfectly :)

"Okay let's go through the Knicks schedule for the next 10 games...at San Antonio. Loss. at New Awlins....New Awlins...I'll give 'em a win...Home to Chawlot that's a win..."

You forgot the large exhale directly into the mic

wow he is pulling out his math skills early on in the show today

errrr Rex Ryan got an errrrr? 3? 3? year contract

I noticed this past season he didn't bash the Jets as vigorously as in past seasons. That used to be my favorite part of the show, he'd absolutely rip them a new one and then take Jets callers for an hour.

That's because he bleeds Giants blue and had no leg to stand on. When the Giants are good and the Jets are bad, forget it, he never holds back.

here come the callers piling on the jets

Mike briefly forgot about Hank Aaron holding the homerun record and named Ruth, nice save Mikey.

"No one would suspect Aar... Ruth isn't the record holder. Gotta be Aaron."

Today a caller asked Mike if he will be able to stay awake while attending all the Super Bowl events.

Btw, loved the overtime question by the mongo (that of course Mike misunderstood and butchered - saying there "if there was time on the clock" when the mongo stated that "the field goal occurs when time runs out").

Since looking up the answer in not in the playbook of Mike or virtually any other host, here's the answer from the NFL website (the answer is "yes" - a team can use the whole 15 minutes, kick a field goal, and win):

"There shall be a maximum of one 15-minute period,

even if the second team has not had an opportunity to
possess the ball or if its initial possession has not ended"

doesnt he study the playbook every offseason

It's great just to see the guy smile. He's genuinely excited that the SB is coming to New Yawk and it comes through. Sucks that he's so miserable most of the time. I can remember shows with him and Dog way back in the early days where the two of them would be laughing hysterically multiple times every single day. It was can't-miss radio back then. The humor level rivaled any radio morning show even.

"New Girl a new show on Fox....I wouldn't watch if you paid me but someone's gonna watch it. New Girl....I'm sure it's hysterical"

:lmao: Love this guy. And he won't wear a wool hat even in -10. Can't blame him with the best hair in the biz.

Credit card holder is good too. It's for your beverages, Mike. The credit company sponsored it, you dope!

Bruno Mahs.
It is going to be funny if we hear about some rubes that try to use that thing as a credit card holder and their cards fall out and get stolen. But Francesa told us it was a credit card holdah!

Hard to believe this is true now, but it was.
