Mileage Tax (1 Viewer)

And also - suburbs are just designed and built differently than the city. You generally need to drive to go to the grocery store, or the shoping center, or to get coffee, or to eat at a restaurant, or to get to your kids school, etc.

Suburbanites definitely spend more time in their car than inner city folk

You literally have NOTHING to back that up.   Nothing.
Pick your state and compare urban vs suburban. I'd guess that the people in the 'burbs drive more.

This is a commonly known thing that you shouldn't need to ask for data on. Or you could have googled for five seconds and found it. Why are you so stuck on this subject that you don't seem to know much about?

Im saying that tweet showed none of that.  If she had tweeted the chart you just linked to, I would have accepted that much more than a chart showing income levels, talking about white flighters.  Absurd.

Sometimes I assume that people are generally conversant around the issues they're talking about, my apologies.

If you want EVs don't create a perverse incentive.  Really, it's that simple.

(Though I do wander how this admin will restrict these mileage taxes from hitting anyone under 400k income).
