His manner, demeanor and personality hasn't changed from the day he arrived in Dallas. His heros are his parents and Kim Kardashian. That right there says enough. He was brought up right with morals and principles at the top of the list.
That fizzled out long ago, before it even had a chance to grow. No chemistry, as it would figure.meanjoegreen said:Andy Herron said:His manner, demeanor and personality hasn't changed from the day he arrived in Dallas. Vincent Jackson hasn't done is 5 years what Miles Austin did in 9 games as a starter.fruity pebbles said:First thing i thought was maybe VJaxs reported 5 year 50 million dollar asking price wasnt as far fetched as first thought.

No comment — I just liked the way these were juxtaposed.Andy Herron said:The first thing you need to know about Miles Austin is that he didn't "demand" anything all along. His approach thru all of this was that he was just here to play football and everything else would take care of itself.
Do these people have blinders on or what? He's clearly a stud on the field. I don't know a simpler way to put it.Miles is a likable guy and had those great ten games or so, but this as per usual with the Cowboys, is a reach. Even the Cowboys honks around here are wondering if that was the best move and these are some of the biggest homer fans I've ever encountered.
People were saying the same things about Michael Clayton post 2004, just sayinDo these people have blinders on or what? He's clearly a stud on the field. A Michael Clayton comparison. Ouch. That's below the belt. All worries will be put to rest when Austin finishes as WR #2 this year, behind Finley.People were saying the same things about Michael Clayton post 2004, just sayinDo these people have blinders on or what? He's clearly a stud on the field. Not really true. VJax has done more with 100 targets a year than anyone in the league. Put him in an offense that force feeds him the ball and he'd have very good numbers. Jackson has also done it for two years vs half a season.Vincent Jackson hasn't done is 5 years what Miles Austin did in 9 games as a starter.fruity pebbles said:First thing i thought was maybe VJaxs reported 5 year 50 million dollar asking price wasnt as far fetched as first thought.
Yea, too bad he plays for Dallas. Otherwise, he could have been a good guy.Andy Herron said:The first thing you need to know about Miles Austin is that he didn't "demand" anything all along. His manner, demeanor and personality hasn't changed from the day he arrived in Dallas. His heros are his parents. That right there says enough. He was brought up right with morals and principles at the top of the list. In today's NFL, he would be what you would call a "real" role model. This league would be blessed to have more Miles Austins all the way around. He's that good, on and off the field.![]()
After this season it will look like a bargain.Miles is a likable guy and had those great ten games or so, but this as per usual with the Cowboys, is a reach.
