Now's a good time to re-examine Miles long term value.
The announcers made a good point that the offense has shrunk with less of the long ball. That should come back next year with Romo, but Miles has dropped a lot of balls this year and Dez Bryant still looms.
Gotta wait till next year but Dez looks better right now. This offence could potentially support two fantasy WR's anyways but I think if I had to choose right now I'd go with Dez.
Miles has looked lost at times this year but he's still a playmaker.
Kitna's inability to throw a ball more than 12 yards is absolutely killing him in 2010.
Austin still looks like a playmaker to me. No wide receiver has been very good for the Cowboys since Romo went down, Dez included. They've all had some big weeks but mostly no. I think Austin will be what he was to start the season, i.e. pretty good WR1. I think this team will be somewhat like Arizona with Warner/Fitz/Boldin, or Colts when it was Manning/Harrison/Wayne. It'll be Romo/Dez/Austin. You were never really hurting if you had Boldin or Wayne as your WR1 those years, same with Austin.
He is not as good as people thought he was based on his one career year. He will be a good WR2 going forward but I wouldn't want him as my WR1. In the long run, Dez is going to be the playmaker in that offense.
