Holy crap. I actually went through the list crossing off names and trying to find 11. I would eliminate about 15 of them and not be surprised at all about the rest.

I am guessing these 8 guys:

Mike Sweeney

Aaron Boone

Julio Franco

Tony Clark

Neifi Perez

Luis Gonzalez

Russ Ortiz

Eric Gagne

The other 3 will be the lesser known players from the list.

I don't think Bonds, Sosa, or Clemens will be one of the 11 because their names would have leaked already if that was the case.

I have from a trustworthy source that most of Gagne's college teammates suspected his steroid use and was generally known as a user.

Whether that parlays into anything here, I'm not sure.

Wouldn't surprise me that since testing began he went from being super-elite best in the game to average to pretty good closer.

I always thought this about Gagne as well.
