Hey now!Hung out with Darryl Cousins yesterday at the bar. We hashed out the Jim Joyce / Galarraga perfect game fiasco...pretty funny... he was at third that day.
Looks like the 47 people in the stands loved that one.
Cano, Tex, A-Rod, Swisher, Granderson, Posada are all capable of 30+ HRs in that park.
I know he played some RF last year too, but him playing 81 games @ AT&T is going to be a disaster.
I was gonna ask why he wasn't in LF but then I realized Pat Burrell is out there. It was a good run SF.
The only reason he's out there is because Cody Ross is hurt. After watching the Giants run the likes of Lance Niekro, John Bowker and Ryan Klesko at 1B in recent years, having both Huff and Belt is a luxury.
So what does this mean? Ross isn't going to be stating over Huff and I'd imagine Burrell would see more ABs than Ross too.There's no logical platoon between Huff and Belt since both bat left handedI'm sure Ross can be a late inning replacement, but that certainly wouldn't have helped last night.

The plan in Arizona was for Ross to play RF, Huff 1B with Belt in Fresno. Belt certainly looks like a major leaguer so far which makes the decision harder when Ross returns.
