#13. Let me know when it's no longer too early.Absolutely too early. It's April.Bautista - homerun number nine. Is it too early to serve crow to his skeptics this year?
If nothing else, Jeter should score lots of runs and has name value. I'm a Jeter hater and not sure I'd do that.Thinking of dropping Jeter for Peralta.C: Geovany Soto1B: Miguel Cabrera2B: Brandon PhillipsSS: Derek Jeter3B: Jed LowrieUTL: Mark Teixeira, Justin MorneauOF: Matt Holliday, Curtis Granderson, Bobby Abreu

Are we really going to rehash this? If he turns out a stud again this year, and it looks like he's going to, that's terrific. You beat the odds with an early draft pick and got great returns. I'll still say you took the short end of the gamble, but that doesn't mean you can't be right. Kudos.#13. Let me know when it's no longer too early.Absolutely too early. I'll tell you what is pathetic: Bumping posts on May 14th looking for people to validate your draft choice. We're not even a 1/4 of the way through the season and we're collecting "I told you so"? That's both premature and petty.I'm pretty certain that I've said congrats on him working out thus far. I'm not sure what else I can offer. I'm certainly not contradicting that he's knocking the cover off the ball, and if he continues I'll be dead wrong in my assessment of him. I've laid out why I think, generally speaking, a guy with his profile is a poor high-round selection. Just because Jose Bautista has worked out thus far doesn't make that a flawed view in general. I'll go ahead and take a pass on the personal jab, but I can freely admit I'm wrong about things on a daily basis. Jose Bautista may be one of them, but my reasoning for not having him on my fantasy team remains sound in my eyes. If that's being contradictory to you, I really couldn't care less.'Limp Ditka said:This is getting pretty pathetic. Do you ever admit that you're wrong?'RnR said:Are we really going to rehash this? Looks like a shallow league, so I would play Peralta over Jeter - if that means I have to drop instead of reserve, so be it.....You should also get a better hitter than Morneau for your second UT slot'rascal said:Its h2h and hitting categories are AVG, OPS, Runs, RBI, SB, and HR'Captain Hook said:1)What are the hitting categories in your league?and2)How do you stand in each category?Jeter has started to hit a little so he is probably better for Runs and SB but if you need power, Peralta is hitting very well right now'rascal said:Thinking of dropping Jeter for Peralta.C: Geovany Soto1B: Miguel Cabrera2B: Brandon PhillipsSS: Derek Jeter3B: Jed LowrieUTL: Mark Teixeira, Justin MorneauOF: Matt Holliday, Curtis Granderson, Bobby Abreu

12 team league. I dropped Harang and picked up Aybar and moved Jeter to the bench. If I dumped Morneau the FA pickings are pretty slim: Huff, Peralta, Boesch, Helton, Brantley.Looks like a shallow league, so I would play Peralta over Jeter - if that means I have to drop instead of reserve, so be it.....You should also get a better hitter than Morneau for your second UT slot'rascal said:Its h2h and hitting categories are AVG, OPS, Runs, RBI, SB, and HR'Captain Hook said:1)What are the hitting categories in your league?and2)How do you stand in each category?Jeter has started to hit a little so he is probably better for Runs and SB but if you need power, Peralta is hitting very well right now'rascal said:Thinking of dropping Jeter for Peralta.C: Geovany Soto1B: Miguel Cabrera2B: Brandon PhillipsSS: Derek Jeter3B: Jed LowrieUTL: Mark Teixeira, Justin MorneauOF: Matt Holliday, Curtis Granderson, Bobby Abreu
Yeah that guy is unrosterable in fantasy baseball and in real baseball.Man, stick a fork in Javy
REALLY? Have you looked at the stats for those guys and then at Morneau's?Sounds to me like you are a slave to the name of a hitter who USED to play first base for the TwinsIf I dumped Morneau the FA pickings are pretty slim: Huff, Peralta, Boesch, Helton, Brantley.
There's a chance that he's coming around a bit. Batted .333 last week, had 4 2Bs.The guy's not done.REALLY? Of course I have. I am well aware of the drain he has been on my team. Especially since I've chosen to go pitcher heavy and not have any offensive bench spots (i.e. starting him). The only reason why I didn't drop him earlier is because I've been in first place.REALLY? Actually he hit .285 last week. There's a chance that he's coming around a bit. Batted .333 last week, had 4 2Bs.The guy's not done.REALLY? Probably looked at last 7 games...Actually he hit .285 last week. There's a chance that he's coming around a bit. Batted .333 last week, had 4 2Bs.The guy's not done.REALLY? I've picked him up twice and dropped him each time. We get penalized for strikeouts. In other leagues go nuts.Trumbo dropped in my league...interesting.
I have too. This time, I'll probably keep him far longer than I should. I overspent to get Kendrys in a keeper league and it would make me even more angry to watch Trumbo go nuts on someone else's team while I watch Kendrys waste away in my DL spot. He is actually starting to take some walks to go along with those K's (5 of his 7 BBs are in the past 15 days with a .341 OBP). So there's that.I've picked him up twice and dropped him each time. We get penalized for strikeouts. In other leagues go nuts.Trumbo dropped in my league...interesting.

Why are you a witch?Rain is killing me this week. Stop already.
Pineda seems to be doing fine with itPoor Felix Hernandez. This guy deserves better than the AA-caliber lineup in Seattle.

12 team mixed?probably not if you have to cut someone of value because there is a very good chance he will be sent back down after this start.....BUT okay if you can reserve him when he is sent to the minors without pinching a roster spot because he will certainly be back up later.Very good strikeout pitcher although he will need to use his curve and change more in the majors - they are good enough pitches but he doesn't really need them to dominate at AAA so he often just threw more fastballsThoughts on Danny Duffy being called up by KC? Is he rosterable in 12 team leagues?
