Welp...it was a heck of a run.  30+ years of MLB on field for Majestic is coming to an end.  Just too much money and too little profitability for a public company like VF Corp to hang with the footwear brands, no matter how big that public company is ($13B).

Could be an interesting fight between the Big 2, as Nike will do almost anything to block UA...but UA will overpay...which they'll have to do considering Majestic just re-upped thru '19.

VF would sell off it's Licensed Sports Group, which is just a piece of the $13B total portfolio.

I know, it's a natural fiber....yada yada yada.  We did change to the lightweight synthetic Cool Base fabric for the $100 replicas last year, and sales exploded and have continued into this year.

  I thought my statement was pro-Grandmothers? Id much prefer to see them continue to be made by Majestic in the US.

Yep, we launched our My Team, My Colors campaign yesterday heading into Opening Day.

The big news there is we will offer Team Color replicas for all clubs, which creates new colorways for clubs that haven't had that option before...Yankees, Dodgers, Cardinals, and Tigers.
