MNF - Baltimore @ Denver (1 Viewer)

Raider Nation

Devil's Advocate
Fantasy - I need Denver's D to not give up too many points. Need T. Bell to do well.

Reality - Denver had a bye last week, and they have a bye NEXT week. Should be a good spot at home to do some business against the Ravens. I see Denver winning 17-10.

I need Rod Smith to not fumble, but if he does, he needs to gain 40 yards.

Denver 23-10

I have Stover and the Balt D.

It sure would be nice if the Ravens pitched a shut-out and Stover kicked 3+ FGs.

I win with any combination of 4 defensive turnovers or FGs by Stover. (down by 12 points)

I'm up 19 over the league's best team with Elam still to play for me, and TBell and the Crows' D for him. I'm thinking that logically, this is a good combo for me, as Bell and the Cravens mght cancel each other out, and hopefully, Baltimore will give up just enough yards to yield loads of Elam field goals.

I think Denver will win as McNair comes back down to earth. Just do it through the air and with lots of FIELD GOALS. :brush:

I need Tatum Bell and Matt Stover to not lose me 40 points :pickle:

Also, a Baltimore straight up win and a total of 41 points could be :moneybag:

down 6 Baltimore defense to play! I like my spot!
yea.... i wish my chances were as good as yours :(i need Jamal to be held to less than 38 yards... a fumble (which i'm praying for) would bump it to 58... that MIGHT be doablehere's to some long sustained drives for the Broncos :banned: :sulk:

agreed, probably a low scoring game. I need Walker, Elam and Gold to score a little less than their averages; Ray Lewis and Bart Scott to have good games, and Derrick Mason to not have a great game (if he scores 2 TDs and 100 yards, I'm in trouble).

In the one league that hinges on tonight's game, I need Heap to get LESS THAN 70 yards rec. I'm up by 7.1 and my opponent only has Heap left.

I think Denver wins this game in a close one. 17-10.

I need Jake Plummer to throw a couple TD's to the guys on defense and a couple TD tosses to Javon.

It could happen. :bag:

Won my other 2 games and only one left to be decided...

Need Mason & Stover to put up 22 in a PPR.

4 for 50 and a TD and a couple of FGs would do it.

Still don't think it will happen though. :wall:

I need stover to score 8 FPs... 2 FGs, 2 XPs... or one 50+ yarder followed by another 30 yarder.Down by less than 8.
sorry, but rooting against all you stover owners. I need him to net less than 2.25 pts :P Come on Denver D, but if it gets inside the 30, just LET'EM score!! Pretty sure I'm screwed here, but hoping that Balt gets 2 TD's total and no Figgies.

Need McNair to stay under 16 points... which is right around his average in our league.... although I dont' think he's ever been over 18... It'll be close.

In one league I need a win most in I need Tatum Bell to have a big game. I'm talking over 100 yards & a TD, preferably he breaks a long one.

I don't feel good about this.

I need Elam to score 27 points

or Jamal Lewis to get less than 50 total yards and no TD

or Javon Walker to score 34 points

I would prefer Elam to score 27 points, but the other two scenarios would prevent the other teams in my division from winning - so that would help too.

I see Baltimore stealing this one, something like 23-14.

The Broncos always struggle against the Ravens, although a lot of that was in the Griese era.

I'm guessing Shanahan put the 2 weeks of preparation into this game because, as RAIDERNATION said the Broncos have a bye next week too. ;) The Broncos are historically very good after bye weeks, too.

But the Ravens just seem to have their number, no matter how good the teams are.

I need two points from Heap to stay undefeated in my league. Come on HEAP, but not too too much. I want Denver to win w/ a sum <36 to win a bet

I need a time machine to go back and bench Lamont Jordan, start Tatum Bell instead, and hope that he scores 70+ with a TD.

I don't like my chances.

:bag: :bag:

I need a score and 30 yards from Heap. He's a little dinged, so I don't think I've got a shot. He might get the yards, but I think his scoring streak stops this week.

I need 40 points from:

Javon Walker

Jamal Lewis

Ian Gold

Definately possible, but I'm not keeping my hopes up!

League 1: Up by 13.5 with Derrick Mason to go, he has Adalius Thomas and Bart Scott. I should be OK but you never know.

League 2: Already won. :pickle: I need 15 points from Jamal Lewis and Terrell Suggs to get the high score for the week. :football:

League 3: Up by 9. I have Stover going, she has Elam. This could be an epic kicker battle!

Good news on the weather front for those of use who need a DEFENSIVE game.

31° with rain and snow expected during the game.

EDIT: 1-3" of snow!!! :banned:

Trying to go 5-0 ... I'm up 12 against Heap. He's averaged 11.5 in our league so far. Ugh.

oooo ... 31 degrees, rain and snow - that's got to be tough on a bad thigh. *hopeful*
