MNF: Bears vs Colts (1 Viewer)

Jaws: Rex Grossman is a good quarterback! He throws more touchdowns than intercep--Tirico: And there's an interception from Grossman!Classic.
:(
Jaws can only be right 99.9% of the time. He's hands down the best analyst I've ever listened to. When a booth guy instantly tells you why the FB's first step draws a FS into the center of the field while the TE drags a LB into the flat leaving the WR in man on a play action TD, I'm in love. I could listen to Jaws breakdown plays all day long and by the end of the season he will quadruple Kornheiser's football acumen.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love Jaws and I love his style and what he brings to the booth, I just thought the timing what great

one thing that can be said about the Bears offense the first 2 weeks, is that Ced Ben has been catching quite a few balls. I know there was questions about his ability out of the backfield, but some of that has been from a lack of opportunities. Think he could be in line for more receptions than most fantasy projections are expecting, especially since Grossman at least to be checking down so far.

I have been saying this a while (well in the few posts that I do post). He is a surprise riser in PPR's/

1. My take on Grossman: When he has time, he's good. Under pressure he's not. On his fumble, I don't think it was his fault. His O lineman just let the guy go at the end. And on his INT, seems the receiver (was that Hester?) didn't try for the ball or got out-muscled for it. I could be wrong but I want to see the replay.

2. Terrible play calling by the Bears

3. Bears D looks good but guves up lots of yards.

4. Addai has not looked special.

5. Korn doesn't bother me, b ut then again, I have the sound down.

Interesting... I like PPR running backs in a dynasty leagues, it just seems like that is the way the NFL is going

LOLThis is funny on a variety of levels.

Why because I said balls, and complimented Grossman in the same paragraph?

There's no defending that INT. Brutal throw in traffic--and exactly the kind of throw Rex shouldn't be trying to make.

Onside kick in a preseasn game? I really like the Colts but thats just arrogant. What is Dungy trying to prove?

Addai still not much for cutting. He's an overrated talent in a great situation.
He's not a very special back, IMO. Still a fantasy stud for sure, but I don't think he is a great talent at all.
I don't know. To me, Addai seems like a very patient runner, almost to a fault. He still looks like he's waiting for holes to develop to the extend that he doesn't make decisive cuts or hit the hole as hard as he can. I'm anxious to see if he can really get into a confident groove, because IMO, he has Ahman Green upside (with Mike Bennet downside).

This time I'll agree with Jaws. It's not about trying to run up the score, it's about having your team practice a very important play.

1 - "has been catching quite a few balls" - delete the word "quite" and you're OK2 - " I know there was questions about his ability out of the backfield, but some of that has been from a lack of opportunities." No, very little of that has been from a lack of opportunities. Most of it has been because he sucks as a receiver.3 - The name "Ced Ben"4 - The idea that Grossman is smart enough to check down :lmao:PS: Colts ST looks in reg season form :hophead:

So you practice a "surprise" onside kick on national TV..... great thinking there.
Maybe you do. Give other teams something to think about. Maybe they'll be less quick to set up their blocking.

Lol...Dorsey finally gets into the game and there's 11 guys in the backfield on his first carry.

And now Sorgi goes down before he can even drop back.

Must be the second string O-line.

poor Sorgi, best job in the NFL during the regular season ... during the preseason, not so much

Colts have some of the if not the weakest depth of any team in the NFL.PS LOL @ that punt return from what I hear on the radio - did he really have an easy TD and tripped over his own guy?

why do people whine about what happens in a preseason game?? It's practice!!!!

50 yard return for hester! If it wasn't for the 30 yard line he would... have... gone... all... the ...way!

? What holding a clipboard? Although I will say that's about all he does well.
Wouldn't you want to be making a few hundred thousand to hold a clipboard? (that was my point)ETA: let me correct myself, week 17 is usually BRUTAL for Sorgi.

In other words, he runs like Edge does now in Arizona.

And pretty much how Edge ran in Indy. What's the difference? The O-line ...

You didn't say "one of the best jobs around" but "best jobs in the NFL," but thx for clarifying.Did Griese look as good as it sounds like he did?

Indy's Oline is playing very well.
Really? I personally didn't think the starting line looked too great against the pass. I don't recall a single blitz by the bears against the first string yet the front 4 even without Tommie Harris managed a sack and another hit on manning, something the colts line didn't allow to happen much at all last year.

Anyone think Berrian will be a decent #2 this year? He's looked good thus far, and is getting targets...

Any Bears homers care to comment on how much Hester has been used as a WR in the preseason? I grabbed him as a WR4 in a return yardage league. If he can add 30-40 catches to his return yardage he should put up WR2 numbers.

Just not sure if he'll see enough looks on O.

But based on one series, he looked pretty comfortable at WR.
