MNF Bengals @ Falcons (1 Viewer)

The Falcon running game will suffer. With the defensive ends not having to worry about containing Vick from getting the corner the offense will see different looks. Defenses can be more aggressive with blitzes and the like. Joey is poor at reading and recognizing. Downgrade Dunn and Norwood bigtime. The running game will not be in the top 20 this year. :football:
Not only because Vick but Dunn is nt a srping chicken anymore and Norwood ( Is simply a third down change of pace this might not please some but that s it ) so they actually are thin at RB.Snelling will probably end up starting when they are like 2 - 7 and going nowhere.

good for Harrington.. he'll be throwing the ball a lot with this group and I think he's a better play than his ADP (29) would suggest.

With Petrino's history of a wide open offense, Harrington could be a nice value, esp in a league that doesn't penalize for INT

Harrington looking real solid. Or is the Bengals D just that bad?
Detroit threw for almost 500 yds on themO'Sullivan: 12/19 for 225 yds, 1TDOrlovsky: 15/23 for 220 yds and 2 TDKitna 3/5 for 52 ydsSaints racked up 264 yds passing without trying too hard.J.Martin 14/19 139 ydsM.Baker 7/13 75 ydsDrew Brees 6/6 55ydsAnd now Harrington starts off 6/6 for 70 yds and a score...I would say the Bengals are pretty putrid at stopping the pass...but some will now be convinced that Harrington is the 2nd coming of Fran Tarkenton.

Joey looks surprisingly confident
Obviously we'll have to see when the games matter, but I noted the same thing back in Game 1 versus the Jets. Amost a different QB. He was very sharp and looked to Roddy White a lot when Crumpler was out.I'm not sold on him yet, but I wouldn't summarily dismiss him either. As others have said, while many are totally shying away from the Atlanta passing game, I think one of those WRs will pay solid dividends before all is said and done. The problem is figuring out who it is...

Im not liking what Im seeing from that Cincy OLine. ATL's D isn't that good, and aside from that 1 run, Rudi's had no holes and Palmer's been pressured at least 75% of the time it seems.

They def need willie anderson and levi jones back...they said levi would play tonight right, so why not with the first squad?

and does anyone know the timetable on anderson?

Rudi has 7 carries for 50 yds, no?The entire team has 10 carries for 70 yards too.

Yeah, ok. I'm not one to throw out long runs myself, but that leaves him with 6 for 17 aside from the 33 yarder, or less than 3 a carry. And Rudi isn't a back you typically see break off runs longer than 10 yards, so...Obviously itll be better with theyre 2 starting tackles, but theyre palying an average D at best and the OLine is consistently looking average at best.

wtf...are we going to watch some football or talk about Vick all night. This kind of "coverage" drives me nuts. :blackdot:

(talking about the ESPN coverage btw)

They ####### talked about dog fighting right over the Norwood touchdown. Suzy talking to Mort on the side line. Norwood runs it in, Crowd goes nuts and Mort and Suzy didn't even pause! UNEXCUSABLE!

That was a halftime report during two great plays. Poor decisions from top to bottom. I know this is preseason but there's still a game on. Come on ESPN, pull your heads out.

The fantasy football takes some strange bounces.

Picked up Harrington as my bye week filler last season (Vick was my starter).

If Joey (that is his problem joeY) can keep this up I will be doing OK at QB.

I know it is the Cincy D but Joey isn't making mistakes.

Love getting Detroit castoffs.

New drinking game?

One shot everytime somebody on ESPN says "dogfighting"

One beer for everytime you hear "Vick"

30 second kegstand everytime you hear "rapestand"
