New drinking game? One shot everytime somebody on ESPN says "dogfighting"One beer for everytime you hear "Vick"30 second kegstand everytime you hear "rapestand"
Is there a game going on? This coverage is pathetic. I just turned it off.
ditto . . .Law & Order repeats are more interesting . . .

Man all this Vick talk tonight is like checking out a FBG link on the Cin. v. Atl. game to find out how FF studs like Palmer, CJ, etc. are playing and only finding commentary about the announcers and espn. Weird!
This is a game thread and we're talking about the game being presented to us. ESPN was not.
EXACTLY! Talking about Vick has nothing to do with FF for 2007 and if you are going to complain about the announcers not focusing on what is going on down on the field, how is that any different than the nonsense about Tony Kornhole, etc.? Just wishing we could stick to what matters with the season ready to get started and me being away from a tv right now.
This thread is not JUST about FF. It's NFL related and the national coverage of an NFL game is a fair topic in a thread about MNF. Talking to a local writer about how the city is reacting, while the game is on is not MNF related. If all you want are stats, go to NFL.com. If you have questions about specific players, ask. If you had access to a TV, you'd feel the same as we do.

I like the guys with no TVs criticizing us for being pissed that they had a five minute interview in the middle of the 2nd Q.

For you guys...

Joey looks sharp and Michael Jennings does too.

TJ looks rusty. 85 is still $. He is owning DH. Palmer looks like Palmer. Rudi is getting his.

Wait, here's one thing... Kenny Irons made a run through a HUGE hole up the middle. What was that about? Wasn't Kenny injured or something?

One thing I like seeing with Joey, he's checking off his reads. Good stuff. Hope he has this much time to throw in the regular season.

Basically if you own Norwood the best case scenario has occurred for him so far in the battle for regular season looks. Dunn has done less with more opportunity's so far. Also being that Pre-season week 3 is the last week the starters really go, its probably the most important night to give a last impression before roles are decided.

Harrington's managing the offense efficiently so far and the ATL D looks tougher than I expected.

Roddy White is terrible.
Imagine if any of us were as bad at our job as Roddy White? Imagine review time? His end of year meetings with the coach must be brutal."Yeah, well..we asked you to do a job and um, again this year..it looks like you didn't do it? Any reason for that Roddy?"

Adam Jennings . . .Michael (NYG) Jennings is injured . . .

Huh? Norwood didn't even sniff the field until after Dunn left due to injury. If anything, I would say it was rather obvious that Dunn is still their clear starter based on that.

How has Alge Crumpler looked route running ( knee ), catching, etc. Targets from Joey? Thanks
He had one or two grabs early but I haven't seen much of him lately. He looked like same old Alge....had a grab for 25 or so and KTFO'd the db who came in to hit him.edit: grab was for 13, not 25.

Went to him early. Lowered his shoulder into Dexter Jackson and knocked Dex out of the game. Think he was targeted one other time. Haven't heard his name since, but there was a large chunk of time not hearing any names.

Went to the backup TE for a nice gain during the sideline interviews.

So because they gave Dunn the start tonight means he looks/is better? The only thing Dunns done tonight is convert a 3-4 yard 3rd down. Everything else was little 2-3 clips. Norwood comes in on his first look and makes a nice catch and run for a TD. Norwood looked more explosive and is a stronger back. Norwood looked good in pass protection.Just because Dunn got the start tonight means hes a lock to be the RB1 ?! Dunn still needs to prove himself. Norwoods the one that was in training camp all off-season getting 1st team looks.

Mike Jenkins seems to be having a good game tonight. Is he emerging as the WR to have in ATL. Not that your team should depend on that, but it's worth knowing. Not watching the game so not sure how good he has looked. Curious.

:lmao: I see there is no point having this debate.

I think an earlier poster was right in suggesting a big dip in production for the Atlanta running game this year. Dunn 6 for 8 and Norwood 9 for 25 so far. Yikes.

Dunna and Norwood were often getting hit in the backfield.

if anyone is still going to say "this is the year Houshmazilli passes CJ as the more productive FF WR on Cincy" after this game, they need to re-adjust their predictions.

How's Norwood doing? I really wanted to see him in live action.
See post 168
If you read the posts here, you would never guess he had 9 carries for 25 yards.
Norwood looks really quick out there, and had a few nice little runs, but he got hit right after he got the ball a few times and that killed his YPC.
Those are called his only 3 inside runs.... accounting for -4 yards. He had two good runs for 5 and 8 for a total of 13.That leaves 4 for 16. :lmao:

Henry with a nice slant and breakaway TD. The new Mr Humble unstraps his chinstrap at the 15 yard line, switches the ball and unsnaps the other side. I'm sure Marvin will like the idea of switching the ball for no reason just to showboat on the way in for a TD.

32 years old, and had two procedures done in the off-season

BUT hes a  for the the RB1 spot.

You seem more sure than Petrino is.

So you're banking on an injury to get Norwood the starting gig. Nice to see we are on the same page.
