Aaron Rodgers injury appears to be either Lisfranc foot injury, ankle sprain or possibly even Achilles. Similar mechanism to JK Dobbins injury Sunday. Best case is ankle sprain. Will miss several weeks best case.

It's not an achilles. They took him in for an x-ray.

X-ray looks at bones I believe. Doubt the Achilles was a part of that.

They would take an X-ray regardless. You have to work up a differential.

Yep. X rays don't show soft tissue injuries, but you do that first at the stadium to check if there are any breaks/fractures. Then you do an MRI.

Wilson is not good but this NYJ line might be worse.

They cannot pass block for **** but their run blocking is tremendous. It’s really weird.

That’s probably as much about Buffalo’s D-line as it is NY’s O-line. Rousseau+Floyd+Epenesa make a very good pass rushing trio from the edge and Jordan Phillips on passing downs gives them a big threat up the middle. But they’re not a great run defending front and the linebackers are undersized.

Utterly demoralizing to have this kind of defense and Zach Wilson as your QB, but all of us in the Jets thread (or at least consensus was) said that they needed a better back up. Josh Dobbs just QB'd Arizona. Heinicke was available in the off-season.

Jets brass blew this by not cutting the cord and admitting their second pick in the draft was horrendous.

Buffalo RT Spencer Brown is a significant liability and really hampering their offense.

On defense, Tre White is an elite pass defender, but has proven a pretty bad tackler that has been guilty of enabling a few big runs by missing tackles.
