***MNF*** Colts vs. Bucs (1 Viewer)

The block that folks are talking about, Warren Sapp pulled a block similar to Chad Clifton back in the late 90s and I think that's why they threw the flag. I agree players should protect themselves but those players trailing have about zero chance of being involved in the play. I can understand the flag but players should protect themselves.

This guy is chatting with his pals waving on the way out....... hell no I'd be crying like a school girl.

Does Mike Williams ever run accross the middle? Seems he's being pinned to the sidelines as Freeman works the middle over and over...

I like that guy. Most of the time it's not obvious to tell who plays for the love of the game, but this time it is. Dude has his leg ripped off and he's beating his chest to get his teammates fired up!

wait why not prepare to purposely take a 12 men penalty and guarantee yourself a couple seconds to snap?? am i just being dumb?

Just hate to see injuries, wish the networks would not show them in slow motion
That's gotta be one of the worst injuries that I've seen. Thanks ESPN for showing that again...
Mike Tirico warned you.
I didn't watch it and you're right, Tirico warned but what if some 12 year old is watching it in their bedroom right now?
Then they will have a good example of a right angle to share with their math class.

Then the kid is probably dashing his hopes in become an NFL player and will probably just got for an engineering degree. This is a good thing, we need more engineers and less professional athletes.

Jaworski: blah blah blah "Every play in the playbook is available to them right here" blah blah blah

Gruden: "Uhhh.....not if you run the ball."

Jaworski: "There's plenty of time on the clock, Jon."

:lmao:

Don't know the NFL rule... does a player have to run back to his own sideline, or can he just be out-of-bounds? Would have been way faster to run to the Colts side or out the back of the end zone rather than run 50 yards in a curving route around both special teams units.

Ask mommy for some new sheets

Desmond Briscoe could have used that shortest distance between two points is a straight line lesson when running off the field. He was running diagonally towards the sideline. Ha.

Is it a penalty to have a player on the opposing team's sideline or out of play in the back of the end zone? Seems like it'd be faster to get off the field if he had chosen one of those two options rather than running all the way across the field.

Bad clock management, IMO. They shouldve ran a passing play on 3rd & 1 and if they dont score, then use the final TO. With 20 seconds on the clock, no way their isnt 3-4seconds left if they just do no huddle and throw.

 Some kids sneak video games, some kids sneak playboys, MOP was sneaking football. I think I illegally by house rules watched MNF for like 2 years when that thing didn't start till 9PM, O.J on the colorcast, game ended at 1AM, occasionally spill the beans when I was sloshing thru my morning cereal..."What a game...oops"...my mother "Were you watching football?" me "Who me? Oh no mom."

Pardon my open whining, but if this is all TBMW has in him, he's become my WR5 from here on in, with bye weeks being the exception.

I thought it was dumb to call their last TO and not just run up and spike the ball. It's not like they were 40 yards away from the spot.

Freeman explosion coming in the 2nd half. You just feel it coming. 2 or 3 td's and 200 more yards. They are not going to run any longer.

Welcome to the modern NFL.Shula used to be a master at working the clock especially once they got Marino. Never see them not have timeouts in their pockets to run the 2:00 offense.

If they ran and spiked it wouldve been 4th down though. Still wouldve given them time for the FG, but they wouldnt have had the 1 shot for a TD

Theismann said he didn't feel any pain when he was on the field.
I wouldn't say "any pain". I had a compound fracture with radius and ulna crossing paths, wrist hanging off held by skin. Just felt numb. Made my wrestling opponent puke though. So that made me laugh, if that's possible, for a second or two.

They're playing multiple guys deep in zone; Blount hasnt made anybody put 8 up yet it seems or anything close to it. Freeman apparently got a reputation as a deep ball thrower last year and they are making it easy for him throw underneath. It's not like JF is checking down b/c MW isnt open. JF's first choice is clearly #82/#34. It would be nice if they put #19 in the slot a little and let him get some of that...

from your lips to JF's ears.
