Heading back to New Orleans and the re-opening of the Dome, it will be a major show because of the recovery of the city and the emotions that go with it. After America's worst natural disaster, and possibly the worst civil disaster ever, you would think it should be pro-american, rah rah stuff. So who do they select as entertainment? Green Day. 
Not exactly a piece of Americana or a slice of apple pie, huh? I like Green Day too, but I just don't understand the logic behind this, ya think they'll open with American Idiot? What exactly is the NFL thinking here?
