MNF **Packers at Raiders** (-2.5, 45.5) 8:15 Kickoff (1 Viewer)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that neither Green Bay or Las Vegas has their franchise QB or future Head Coach
Matt LaFleur is not an innovative genius on the offensive side of the football

2 bad teams treated us to a nothing burger last night
a game that is undecided in the final minute is a nothing burger? Interesting take...
It didn't make it a good game. It was a war of attrition, with Maxx Crosby being the winner of it. It was like "the team with less mistakes will eventually become the winner through 4 quarters" in a game that didn't even get near the O/U in points.

What makes something a good game if you're not a fan of either team? I'm of the opinion that any football game on tv is better than no football game on tv.
You know how many games Aikman and Buck bag on during the game? Like almost every MNF game they cover.

Bad football is not good football just because it's football. The only good thing that Packer fans who traveled to Vegas to watch that game and paid all that money was because it wasn't Oakland.

Maybe the average NFL fan was glued last night, I was excited about the Green Bay passing attack last night
If this was an average game for the average fan, then the average fan needs a better game to watch. Because this was way below average football. Or maybe not, the league is not good as far as watchable games especially on prime time. It's great for FF and Vegas. Not for those who play neither FF or Vegas.

That's not a bad POV, I understand what you are saying but it put me to sleep
It wasn't like it was chocked full of outstanding defensive plays from my viewpoint.

Very slow game where the QBs didn't challenge
Adams at WR, 1 catch going into the 4th
It had drama and came down to one last play , an interception in the end zone .

It was competitive thru out ,

I don't see how either of these teams could stay on the field with SF/Buff/PHI/KC
Narrator: They can't.

That's fair as well.
After 10pm in the MoP House, it's just me and a TV, Mrs is already asleep and if the game doesn't have much FF impact for me, I'm prone to fade/pass out.
Sunday Night is the worst, I can't make it to Halftime of the SNF when we start at 9:30/6:30am in London
By SNF, I am 10-11-12 hours in, great in one sense, always excited Sunday morning but by 9/10pm I am exhausted and ready to see the outcome in the morning

You add more teams to that list as well, MIA, LAC, DET, etc. The level of QB play this game was way below average (and you can make an excuse for Love, Garoppolo is a vet who has Meyers, Adams and Renfro), each team didn't reach 300 in total yards, LVR was 5-13 on 3rd down, GB was 4-12 in the same category, LVR had 19 first downs to GB's 18, it came down to how more worse than the other team can play, not how much better the other team was.

I mean isn't that what happened with Santa Clara and Dallas?

Not really, each team has one of the best defenses in the league, and each would find a way to get the ball in Davante Adams' hands in the first quarter.

I’m watching the condensed replay (34 minutes) since I missed 95% of the game & one thing is readily apparent: with an 11 day mini-bye to prepare, missing their most dynamic runner, against one of the worst defenses in the league - notwithstanding one elite Edge rusher in Maxx - Matt LaFleur had one goal. Let’s shorten this clock as much as possible.

GB did not trust Love. Smash AJ into the line repeatedly. Run 11 personnel less than 50%? They actually had 2 TEs out there more than 3 WRs. 20 out of 28 passes were less than 10 yards (7/11 52 on 0-9 yards 7/9 43 Behind LOS.) His passing chart looks like a h.s. JV QB.

The guy across the field feels the same way about his own offense. 0 passes > 20 yards, 14 0-9, 6 behind LOS.

Does that sound like Packers football? Is that the kind of offense you expect from the Raiders? This isn’t winning ball. It’s playing scared.

Sounds like it. Wonder if they wanted to avoid a potential Prescott-esque multi-pick game from Love in favor of stealing one on the road.

Great points, throughout the game I was stymied at LaFleur's playcalling. At times it looked like an offense out of the 70's. There were so many ugly throws out of Love that I can see why LaFleur was apprehensive, and Love's deep throws were just awful. They looked like punts.

Garoppolo - what more can be said about him that hasn't been said already when it comes to his limitations. You can only do so much with the QB you have.
