Watch my feet!
I just have this feeling that Peyton doesn't finish the game. Not predicting or hoping for any sort of serious injury, just generally getting beaten up by the pass rush.

I think the Titans win something like 27-17, but it is close and low scoring at halftime.

I think VY shows up, but in some sort of Wildcat package. Technically at QB, but not to play QB. It won't surprise me to see Chris Johnson do the same.

Gametime is to be about 45 degrees and pretty windy. It will be very loud and very light blue.

CJ will win this game single handedly.

I can see VY appearing, but not if Tennessee gets an early lead.

This game could become a rout of IND. They can't stop the run w/o Sanders and look what the combo of Fatdale/LBJ is capable of last week...

Titans have been vicious against QBs this year.9 QBs in 6 weeks3 chiefs QBs played-one done for season2 vikings QBs, frerotte hurt arm, returned to game.Knocked Carson silly, (ankle and elbow?) he'd play against the Ravens the following week and that'd be it.Schaub knocked out twice last year. The game this year-3 sacks, 2(?) fumble, 3 INTs one for TD. He was probably all excited to finally make it thru a Titans game only to sit the following week with the flu. Jinx or somesuch there.Jags lost 2 Gs against em' and then they sacked Garrard 7 times.Flacco is the only one that didn't take a beating really.

VY will appear ... on the sideline in civies .... just like usual .... Fisher is interested in Winnng and Winning now ... Collins is managing the games just fine and his mother hasn't called the team once about her son being a possible suicide case ....

Manning will finish the game, slightly beat up and once more totally confused and disappointed, but he will finish none the less and he may even have Haynesworth's Jersey Number tatooed on his Colts uni when this ones over, his Daddy may call the Colts Management after this one though and ask for an O-Line for Peyton instead of a ThanksGiving Turkey ....

Titans 27 - Colts 20

My GUESS is that Indy shows up big time and stuffs the running attack. Only a guess.31-13 Indy in a shocker.
In the Lendale vs CJ3 thread, you predicted the following:Milli White 105/2Vanilli Johnson 65/113 pts for TEN isn't consistent with your prediction here

 Nor is his "My GUESS is that Indy show up big time and stuffs the running attack" comment. Is a combined 170 yards and 3 rushing TD's (his prediction in the other thread) really "stuffing the run"??

IND has to limit the bleeding when they are on D. I think that Peyton will make through the game, but if the Colts in passing mode down a few scores, he'll get drilled. Dump offs, slants, draw, WR screens, whatever to get the ball out of his hands as quickly as possible. Anthony Gonzalez should see multiple targets tonight.

If TEN gets up 21-7 early, it will get ugly in the 3rd and 4th.

True. I don't know which scenario will play out. This is why Idon't gamble. If Indy wins, they win big and Milli Vanilli get shut down. If Tenn wins, they win big and the projections above hold true.Having said that, you can probably count on a close game, since I don't really have a clue.

So should we read anything into the fact that all the Titans wins are against teams with losing records?
this is the catch 22 with being early in a season.Tons of people liked the Ravens D and Minny's D, the Bengals had way higher expectations, Jags too. When they lose the Titans almost don't get credit for the W.Tonight is a perfect example. Many think the Colts are a good team, some think they're very good. (They've been a playoff team for a long time now, top coach, top QB, great WRs etc) However, if the Titans win tonight, the Colts are 3-4 so they have a losiing record and people will make the very same statement, as you did above, in week 9. *******At some point, they'll earn the public's respect. I think it could be tonight. After that, for whatever dopey sports reason, they'll be praised and 7-0 versus everyone being skeptical while they're 6-0. More often than not I think each fan has to see some dominance or stellar play for themselves. Jags fans are surely praising their Dline. Chiefs fans probably have tons of nice things to say about their runningbacks etc. National TV could change the public's perception of them tonight. Of course, if they stink tonight....it's going to be a long season for Titans fans.

24 to 10 Titans. Sorry - not optimistic. But, Peyton will finish the game - I don't think that should even be questioned.

Way to hedge your posts, you're bound to be right in one thread.

I don't think there are many "good" teams in the NFL this year, anyway. So - 6 and 0 in this year where anyone can lose to nearly anyone is impressive. As for the Colts - they've played one solid game, and five games where they've been less than solid (somewhere between ordinary and awful). Not a reason for me to be optimistic tonight.

I think every fan hopes for a 19 game long season...

Shoot out..

Manning goes for 300 and 3 tds (two to Wayne).....Colts D still gets gutted by Ten rushing attack.

Score - 34-24 Colts in upset.

Not sure about anyone else, but I can't wait to watch this game tonight. I've always had a great deal of respect for Coach Fisher and I simply love his brand of football. Really looking forward to watching the Tenn team in prime time action.

AgreedTEN will control the clock by pounding the ball which they do very well and Indy has trouble defending...20-7 TEN and the lone TD for Indy is a INT return.my .02

Gosh, I hope you are right. Looks like Reggie is prone to big games, not just that often v. the Titans. September 19, 2004 in TN, he had the type of big game needed. He has also shown big game ability on Monday night on the road v. the Pats on Nov. 7, 2005. He definitely has a tall task tonight.

Update:

Well, Peyton finished the game. KVB being out really slowed down the pressure.

Titans covered, and by a lot. Frankly, this game ended up being one sided. From the time the Titans were down 14-6 late in the 3rd quarter they reeled of 25 unanswered points to lead 31-14. That is domination. The last touchdown was meaningless and Titans were just allowing clock to run off.

Titans are the class of the AFC.
