Isn't Bush Brees' main target? I'm not sure how this could help Brees. Bush has great hands. Most likely this will result in running slightly more and a an increase in targets to the Colston.

I haven't seen them play enough to know, but how is Pierre Thomas' pass-catching abilities? I would think this helps the NO TE's.

I've already advanced to the semi's next week, so I just hope it doesn't get Brees killed. In general tho, I think it helps him. They'll still use Stecker/Thomas to try and keep the Def. honest, but when they need a play, they'll be throwin.

It will have absolutely no effect. Stecker is a solid receiver and they dont run the ball anyway. And it wasnt like Bush was lighting it up.

Very True... Atl is going to lay off Stecker and not give him the attention that they would of given Bush. Stecker will Bene with 5 too 7 recs and 80 too 90 total yds.

Thomas won't catch much. He's more the heir apparent to Deuce. A bruiser-style back. Stecker, on the other hand, is very much a poor man's Reggie Bush, so Brees will still have decent options out of the backfield.

50/50 split between stecker and thomas, i think. despite the fact that the saints haven't given up many sacks, brees struggles when he's being harassed. they'll bring the pressure and hope he's careless or simply unlucky. they'll take their chances with the back-ups beating them.

the offense revovles around bush and brees. now with no bush, it all brees and colston.
