I grabbed him off WW and dropped MBarber..

The sched through week 15 is: vSTL(28)/@SF(23)/vGB(10)/@Den(3)/@ARI(22)/vSF(23)

He's the starter for at least a couple of more weeks. Considering he finally put up numbers last week, and the teams he's going against, any thought as to what his numbers may be like coming up?

Maurice Morris has long been touted as one of the better backup RBs in the league; however, with his opportunity to showcase his abilities, he has done very little. He has 387 yards rushing on the season, only a 3.37 ypc average. He is coming off a solid performance against the Raiders (138 yards rushing), but do not expect him to get 30 carries again. He is playing at home against the Rams who have a porous run defense, allowing 141.2 yards rushing a game (a whopping 5.0 per carry). Week 6 at St. Louis, Morris had his second best game of the season, rushing for 74 yards on 23 carries.Morris has not been used much as a receiver, although I believe he is a capable receiver. Most troubling is the fact that Morris has yet to find the endzone.I would expect around 90 yards rushing this week, maybe a reception or two, but I do not see him scoring a TD.Shaun Alexander may return as soon as next week, making Morris' value minimal, at best.

Hunches don't count for much I know, but my hunch is that Alexander is going to be out longer than most people think.

I do too. If they beat the Rams, they got a 3 game lead heading into the playoffs. Why not rest SA a lil longer and get him ready for a playoff run?

Is this not already the case? Am I the only one who thought he would be back already? :bag: :wall:
LOL, you're probably not the only one. There's just a gut feel here that things are worse than SEA is letting on.
Good work inspector....calling hunches after the fact. Alexander was said to return after the bye week, and that was 2-3 weeks ago.

:lmao: I don't know if you can read, but the topic starter said that he hears/thinks Alexander will be back next week. I don't. So I posted that.

Off topic but do you think dropping MB3 was wise?

once Shaun returns, MoMo is a weak back up at best. Barber will continue to get goal line duty.

Depends on the situation. If you absolutely need a starter for the next 2-4 weeks, then it was a good move.Otherwise........I'd rather have Barber.

Needed him for a few weeks as I will be playing Lundy starting week 13...
